W Leoncinie, 26-VI-2025 r., w kościele Św. Apostołów Piotra i Pawła, podczas przedwieczornej Mszy ks. proboszcz Dariusz Bala poświęcił wianki przyniesione przez wiernych. Tradycyjny obrzęd zakończył liturgiczną Oktawę Bożego Ciała.
Wianki, wyplecione z mięty, macierzanki, rumianku, jaśminu, rozchodnika, koniczyny, ruty, lipy, barwinka, lubczyka i róży, symbolizują ludzką pracę oraz Boże dary, które służą całemu stworzeniu. Ten znak bliskości człowieka z przyrodą jest jednocześnie modlitwą o Bożą opiekę nad ziemią.
Po Mszy odbyło się wystawienie Najświętszego Sakramentu, odśpiewanie Litanii do Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa i procesja wokół świątyni. Zwieńczeniem uroczystości były Nieszpory Eucharystyczne, podczas których wierni odśpiewali psalmy, Hymn do Trójcy Świętej, Magnificat oraz pieśń „Ciebie, Boga, wysławiamy” (Te Deum). Uroczyste błogosławieństwo wiernym udzielił ks. Dariusz Bala.

Wreaths, herbs, and the Te Deum. Leoncin concludes the Octave of Corpus Christi
In Leoncin, on June 26, 2025, at the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, during the early evening Mass, Fr. Dariusz Bala blessed wreaths brought by the faithful. This traditional rite marked the end of the liturgical Octave of Corpus Christi.
The wreaths, woven from mint, thyme, chamomile, jasmine, stonecrop, clover, rue, linden, periwinkle, lovage, and rose, symbolize human labor and God’s gifts that benefit all creation. They are also a sign of the deep connection between man and nature, and an expression of gratitude for God’s blessings and a prayer for protection over fields, meadows, and forests.
After the Mass, the Blessed Sacrament was exposed, followed by the Litany to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a procession around the church. The celebration concluded with Eucharistic Vespers, including the singing of several psalms, the Hymn to the Holy Trinity, the Magnificat, and the hymn “We Praise You, O God” (Te Deum). Fr. Dariusz Bala imparted the final blessing to the congregation.
