W weekend 15-16 XI 2025 r. żołnierze 62 Batalionu Lekkiej Piechoty odbyli dwudniowe, intensywne ćwiczenia taktyczne z 1 Warszawską Brygadą Pancerną. – Była obrona przed siłami przeciwnika, zabezpieczenie wozów bojowych i odparcie ataku ogniowego – relacjonuje MON. Szkolenie na poligonie w Wesołej obejmowało kluczowe elementy działań obronnych na współczesnym polu walki.
– Te manewry to nie tylko sprawdzian wyszkolenia, ale przede wszystkim dowód na siłę współpracy między Wojskami Obrony Terytorialnej a wojskami pancernymi – podsumowała por. Milena, dowódca 621 Kompanii Lekkiej Piechoty 6MBOT. W ćwiczeniach wykorzystano nowoczesny sprzęt wojskowy, w tym czołgi M1 Abrams, pojazd rozpoznawczy Legwan oraz bezzałogowe statki powietrzne.

Territorials with Tank Crews at the Training Ground
Soldiers of the 62nd Light Infantry Battalion from Radom trained intensively for two days with the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade. Exercises at the training ground in Wesoła demonstrated how the Territorial Defense Forces cooperate with operational forces in simulated combat conditions.
On the weekend of November 15-16, 2025, soldiers of the 62nd Light Infantry Battalion conducted a two-day, intensive tactical exercise with the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade. „There was defense against enemy forces, securing combat vehicles, and repelling fire attacks,” reports the Ministry of National Defense. The training at the Wesoła training ground covered key elements of defensive operations on the modern battlefield.
„These maneuvers are not only a test of training but, above all, proof of the strength of cooperation between the Territorial Defense Forces and the armored troops,” summarized Lt. Milena, commander of the 621st Light Infantry Company of the 6th MBOT. The exercises utilized modern military equipment, including M1 Abrams tanks, the Legwan reconnaissance vehicle, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
„Working side by side with the soldiers of the 1st Armored Brigade is a valuable experience,” says Senior Private Specialist Tomasz from the 62nd Light Infantry Battalion. The joint maneuvers confirmed the readiness and high competence of the soldiers of both units for carrying out combat tasks.
