W niedzielę 27-VII-2025 r. o godz. 2.00 po poł. na terenie Fortu III w Pomiechówku odbędą się uroczystości upamiętniające 81. rocznicę likwidacji aresztu śledczego Gestapo oraz największej masowej egzekucji dokonanej przez Niemców 30-VII-1944 r.
W programie obchodów przewidziano Mszę Świętą polową, przemówienia okolicznościowe, Apel Pamięci oraz ceremonię złożenia wieńców na cmentarzu Fortu III. Na zakończenie zaplanowano pokaz umundurowania oraz pojazdów lekkich Polskich Sił Zbrojnych na Zachodzie, przygotowany przez Jeep Willys Club Polska.
– Od tego roku uroczystości będą odbywać się w niedzielę, by umożliwić wszystkim chętnym udział w tej chwili refleksji i hołdu – poinformowali organizatorzy.
Wydarzenie organizuje Powiat Nowodworski we współpracy z Fundacją Fort III Pomiechówek oraz Jeep Willys Club Polska.
Fort III pozostaje jednym z najmroczniejszych symboli niemieckiego terroru na Północnym Mazowszu. Przez więzienie przeszły tysiące Polaków, w tym duchowni, żołnierze Armii Krajowej i ludność cywilna. Rocznicowe uroczystości są wyrazem zbiorowej pamięci o ich cierpieniu i bohaterstwie.
Pomiechówek Remembers – Anniversary of the German Crime at Fort III
On Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., commemorations will be held at Fort III in Pomiechówek to mark the 81st anniversary of the liquidation of the Gestapo investigative prison and the largest mass execution carried out by the Germans on July 30, 1944.
The program includes an outdoor Holy Mass, commemorative speeches, a Roll Call of the Fallen, and a wreath-laying ceremony at the Fort III cemetery. The event will conclude with a presentation of light vehicles and uniforms of the Polish Armed Forces in the West, organized by Jeep Willys Club Polska.
– From this year onward, the event will take place on a Sunday to make it easier for everyone to attend and honor the victims – the organizers stated.
The ceremony is organized by the Nowy Dwór County in cooperation with the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation and Jeep Willys Club Polska.
Fort III remains one of the darkest symbols of German terror in Northern Mazovia. Thousands of Poles, including clergy, members of the Home Army, and civilians, were imprisoned and murdered there. The annual commemoration is a solemn act of remembrance for their suffering and heroism.
