Firma Rutkowski Development podpisała umowę z siecią Lidl na budowę sklepu w Modlinie Twierdzy. Stało się to 25-VII-2025 r. na terenie dawnego boiska przy ul. Bema w Nowym Dworze. Burmistrz Sebastian Sosiński i radny Andrzej Świder prowadzili rozmowy z inwestorem i siecią handlową, by zrealizować inwestycję na prośbę mieszkańców.
Temat budowy sklepu rozgrzał się przed dwoma laty, lecz utknął na etapie negocjacji między deweloperem a Lidlem. Wielu mieszkańców wielokrotnie pytało burmistrza o postęp i prosiło o interwencję, co skłoniło do rozmów z udziałem radnego Świdra, który również angażował się w sprawę. „Zgodnie z życzeniem mieszkańców prowadziłem więc rozmowy, których finał ma miejsce dziś” – napisał burmistrz Sebastian Sosiński. Finalnie doszło do porozumienia, przybliżającego projekt do realizacji, co podkreśla znaczenie dialogu dla lokalnej społeczności i rozwoju gospodarczego, zgodne z katolicką wartością współpracy i troski o wspólne dobro.
Dziś wszystko wskazuje na powstanie sklepu, choć burmistrz przypomina: „Proszę jednak, żebyście pamiętali, że nie ma takich umów, których w wyjątkowych sytuacjach nie można zerwać”. Ewentualne daty otwarcia będą znane za kilka tygodni. Inwestycja dotyczy tylko części działki kupionej kilka lat temu od miasta między ul. Bema i Chrzanowskiego; deweloper podzielił teren na dwa projekty: sklep wielkopowierzchniowy z ważnym pozwoleniem na budowę oraz zespół trzy-piętrowych bloków mieszkalnych na podstawie ustawy lex deweloper.
W sprawie bloków trwają konsultacje społeczne prowadzone przez miasto; uwagi można zgłaszać do 31-VII-2025 r. na adres sekretariat@nowydwormaz.pl. Dodatkowo, 28-VII-2025 r. o 6.00 wiecz. odbędzie się drugie spotkanie otwarte dla mieszkańców w sali gimnastycznej szkoły przy ul. Bema 312. Ta inicjatywa wzmacnia głos społeczności, promując transparentność i udział w decyzjach lokalnych, co rezonuje z tradycyjną katolicką nauką o sprawiedliwości społecznej i trosce o sąsiadów.
Lidl in Modlin: Agreement Signed
The Rutkowski Development company signed an agreement with the Lidl chain for the construction of a store in Modlin Twierdza. This happened on July 25, 2025, on the site of the former sports field at Bema Street in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. Mayor Sebastian Sosiński and Councilor Andrzej Świder conducted talks with the investor and the retail chain to implement the investment at the request of residents.
The topic of building the store heated up two years ago but got stuck at the negotiation stage between the developer and Lidl. Many residents repeatedly asked the mayor about progress and requested intervention, which prompted talks involving Councilor Świder, who also engaged in the matter. „In accordance with the residents’ wishes, I therefore conducted talks, the finale of which takes place today” – wrote Mayor Sebastian Sosiński. Ultimately, an agreement was reached, bringing the project closer to implementation, which emphasizes the importance of dialogue for the local community and economic development, consistent with the Catholic value of cooperation and care for the common good.
Today, everything indicates the store will be built, although the mayor reminds: „However, please remember that there are no such agreements that cannot be terminated in exceptional situations.” Possible opening dates will be known in a few weeks. The investment concerns only part of the plot purchased several years ago from the city between Bema and Chrzanowskiego Streets; the developer divided the land into two projects: a large-area store with a valid building permit and a complex of three-story residential blocks based on the lex deweloper law.
Regarding the blocks, social consultations are ongoing, conducted by the city; comments can be submitted until July 31, 2025, to the address sekretariat@nowydwormaz.pl. Additionally, on July 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., the second open meeting for residents will take place in the gymnasium of the school at Bema Street 312. This initiative strengthens the community’s voice, promoting transparency and participation in local decisions, which resonates with traditional Catholic teaching on social justice and care for neighbors.
