Observing what is happening in Gaza and more broadly in the Middle East, thank God for the establishment of the state of Israel; otherwise, Poles would be in serious trouble today. It is enough to recall the international push by Jews after the end of World War I to create the state of Polin on Polish lands, with Yiddish as the second official language. The question arises why Israel wants to alienate not only most of the world’s opinion but also its most loyal allies, American evangelicals? We are talking about about 200 million Americans. Is it hubris of biblical proportions? After all, if it maintains this „imperial” style, it will cease to exist, especially without the help of generous and faithful American evangelicals. Aggressive takeover, colonization of Palestine (just look at the map from 1948), stupid and brutal spitting on Christians in Jerusalem who just want to walk the paths of Jesus. What testimony do they give to their culture, religion, and civilization?

France’s reaction surprised, whose president Macron announced that at the September UN assembly, France will recognize the existence of the state of Palestine, and France is a member of the UN Security Council and has veto power. Let’s add that among other SC members, Russia and China have already recognized Palestine, while the USA and UK have not. Of course, France’s stance met with immediate condemnation from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who had earlier accused France of a „crusade against the state of Israel.”
The spread of fast communication technologies has knocked out the teeth of mainstream media, which until recently strictly controlled the images and content available to recipients. We are just observing the consequences of this, giving us a chance to get acquainted with the true picture of the world. One can say that the famous saying of Fr. Tischner: „Truth is like an ass, everyone has their own” is taking on new shapes and shines…
