Zimowa przerwa szkolna nie musi oznaczać bezczynności. Muzeum Zbrojownia na Zamku w Liwie przygotowało program, który łączy historię, sztukę i aktywne myślenie. To propozycja dla dzieci i młodzieży, które chcą przeżyć ferie inaczej niż przed ekranem.
W czasie ferii zimowych, w każdy wtorek, środę, czwartek i piątek o godz. 11.00, Muzeum Zbrojownia na Zamku w Liwie zaprasza dzieci i młodzież szkolną od VII roku życia na bezpłatne zajęcia edukacyjne prowadzone przez zamkowych edukatorów. Spotkania odbywają się w historycznych murach zamku przy ul. Stefana Batorego 2 w Liwie i trwają około 1,5 godziny.
Program zajęć obejmuje cztery bloki tematyczne. Pierwszy z nich poświęcony jest księciu Januszowi I Starszemu. Uczestnicy poznają sylwetkę jednego z najważniejszych władców Mazowsza, czasy jego panowania oraz znaczenie jego decyzji dla rozwoju regionu. Zajęcia mają charakter warsztatowy – dzieci wcielają się w rolę historyków i pracują z różnorodnymi źródłami.
Drugi temat nawiązuje do „Iliady” Homera i świata wojny trojańskiej. Uczestnicy poznają bohaterów eposu, realia dawnych oblężeń oraz strategie ataku i obrony twierdz. Punktem odniesienia jest również zamek w Liwie i związane z nim legendy.
Kolejny blok to „Renesansowy outfit” – warsztaty poświęcone modzie renesansowej, symbolice stroju i znaczeniu wizerunku. Dzieci analizują dzieła sztuki, a następnie projektują własne stroje inspirowane epoką.
Ostatni temat dotyczy Mazowsza drewnianego i murowanego. Zajęcia skupiają się na działalności budowlanej księcia Janusza I Starszego, funkcjach średniowiecznych zamków oraz materiałach, z których je wznoszono. Uczestnicy poznają także proces powstawania warowni.
Udział w zajęciach jest bezpłatny, jednak liczba miejsc jest ograniczona. Castle holidays without boredom
The winter school break does not have to mean inactivity. The Armory Museum at Liw Castle has prepared a program that combines history, art, and active thinking. It is an offer for children and young people who want to spend their holidays in a way other than in front of a screen.
During the winter holidays, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 11:00 a.m., the Armory Museum at Liw Castle invites school-aged children and youth from the age of 7 to free educational classes led by castle educators. The meetings take place within the historic walls of the castle at 2 Stefana Batorego Street in Liw and last approximately 1.5 hours.
The program consists of four thematic blocks. The first focuses on Duke Janusz I the Elder. Participants learn about the figure of one of the most important rulers of Mazovia, the times of his reign, and the significance of his decisions for the region’s development. The classes have a workshop format, with children taking on the role of historians and working with various sources.
The second topic refers to Homer’s “Iliad” and the world of the Trojan War. Participants learn about the heroes of the epic, the realities of ancient sieges, and fortress attack and defense strategies. Liw Castle itself and its legends also serve as a point of reference.
Another block, “Renaissance Outfit,” consists of workshops devoted to Renaissance fashion, the symbolism of clothing, and the meaning of image. Children analyze works of art and then design their own outfits inspired by the era.
The final topic concerns wooden and brick Mazovia. These classes focus on the building activity of Duke Janusz I the Elder, the functions of medieval castles, and the materials used to construct them. Participants also learn about the process of creating a fortified stronghold.
Participation in the classes is free of charge, but the number of places is limited.
