Historyczne koszary Twierdzy Modlin zyskają nowe życie. Poznańska Grupa Konkret zapowiada rewitalizację części najdłuższego budynku w Europie i zaadaptowanie dawnych budynków koszarowych na trzygwiazdkowy Hotel Airport Modlin.
Poznańska Grupa Konkret zrealizuje nowy obiekt hotelowy w obrębie Twierdzy Modlin w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim. Projekt zakłada rewitalizację części Twierdzy i zaadaptowanie dawnych budynków koszarowych na hotel. Pierwszy etap przewiduje realizację 123 pokojów. Docelowo ma ich być blisko dwa razy tyle. Prace rozpoczną się w pierwszym kwartale 2026 roku.
Obiekt będzie nosił nazwę Hotel Airport Modlin i znacząco powiększy volumen miejsc noclegowych Grupy Konkret w tej lokalizacji. Koncept zakłada rewitalizację części najdłuższego budynku w Europie i zaadaptowanie na potrzeby hotelowego lobby dawnej Bramy Kadetów – jednej z głównych bram wjazdowych na dziedziniec koszar.
– Miejsce, które niegdyś strzegło wjazdu na cytadelę, dziś będzie dla niej nowym otwarciem – mówi Karol Fiedor, architekt i prezes zarządu CDF Architekci. – Tworząc z Bramy Kadetów serce przyszłego hotelu, piszemy nową historię tego miejsca, zachowując przy tym to, co dla budynku pod względem konserwatorskim jest najważniejsze.
Projekt przewiduje, że Brama Kadetów stanie się centralnym punktem hotelu z lobby, barem i recepcją. W obiekcie znajdzie się również restauracja z tarasem, przestrzeń rekreacyjna oraz dwie sale konferencyjne, w tym większa o powierzchni blisko 250 metrów kwadratowych.
– Hotel Airport Modlin w Twierdzy Modlin, to kolejny krok w kierunku budowy pozycji Grupy Konkret jako lokalnego lidera rynku hotelowego – mówi Paulina Prusiecka, Dyrektor Marketingu Grupy Konkret. – Obiekt będzie utrzymany w standardzie 3 gwiazdek, a rewitalizacja tej części twierdzy zakłada rozbudowę bazy noclegowej, tak aby wypełnić ogromną lukę w rynku hotelowym w okolicy Portu Lotniczego Warszawa-Modlin.
Aktualnie trwają prace projektowe, a przyjęcie pierwszych gości przewidziane jest pod koniec 2027 roku. W drugim etapie projektu planowane jest dodanie kolejnych 116 pokoi hotelowych.
New Hotel in Modlin Fortress. Grupa Konkret to Adapt Barracks into 123 Rooms
The historic barracks of the Modlin Fortress will gain new life. Poznań’s Grupa Konkret announces the revitalization of part of the longest building in Europe and the adaptation of the former barracks buildings into a three-star Hotel Airport Modlin.
Poznań’s Grupa Konkret will implement a new hotel facility within the Modlin Fortress in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The project involves the revitalization of part of the Fortress and the adaptation of former barracks buildings into a hotel. The first stage anticipates the creation of 123 rooms. Ultimately, there are to be nearly twice as many. Work will begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The facility will be named Hotel Airport Modlin and will significantly increase the volume of accommodation offered by Grupa Konkret in this location. The concept involves the revitalization of part of the longest building in Europe and the adaptation of the former Cadet Gate for use as the hotel lobby – one of the main entrance gates to the barracks courtyard.
– A place that once guarded the entrance to the citadel will now be a new opening for it – says Karol Fiedor, architect and president of the board of CDF Architekci. – By making the Cadet Gate the heart of the future hotel, we are writing a new history for this place, while preserving what is most important for the building in terms of conservation.
The project envisions the Cadet Gate becoming the central point of the hotel with a lobby, bar, and reception. The facility will also include a restaurant with a terrace, a recreational area, and two conference rooms, including a larger one with an area of nearly 250 square meters.
– Hotel Airport Modlin in the Modlin Fortress is another step towards building Grupa Konkret’s position as a local leader in the hotel market – says Paulina Prusiecka, Marketing Director of Grupa Konkret. – The facility will be maintained at a 3-star standard, and the revitalization of this part of the fortress involves expanding the accommodation base to fill a huge gap in the hotel market near Warsaw-Modlin Airport.
Design work is currently underway, and the first guests are expected by the end of 2027. In the second stage of the project, the addition of another 116 hotel rooms is planned.
