The play „Maidens’ Vows” tells of love, which is the main theme of theater, the source of all dramas, the foundation of every action, the key motive for the characters’ actions, and constitutes the metaphysical dimension of dramatic art.
Despite the vows they have made, the heroines of Fredro’s comedy are unable to resist love, which they discover as the most powerful, life-giving element. Klara and Aniela, the boastful Gustaw and the sentimental Albin, entangled in amusing intrigues, after many surprising plot twists, ultimately make happy choices.
The performance will take place on November 24 at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Cultural Center in Płońsk. Tickets are available online.
