W Zespole Placówek Edukacyjnych w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim 7 XI odbył się apel z okazji Narodowego Święta Niepodległości, który przybrał formę wyjątkowego dowodu uznania. Zarząd Główny Związku Oficerów Rezerwy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej przyznał placówce złoty medal za zasługi dla ZOR RP. To zbiorowe wyróżnienie stanowi tło dla indywidualnych odznaczeń. Dyrektor Justyna Paszkiewicz otrzymała srebrny medal za zasługi dla Związku Oficerów Rezerwy RP. Natomiast wicedyrektor Barbara Topolewska oraz nauczycielki Marta Kanclerza i Urszula Harasimiuk zostały uhonorowane Krzyżem Zasługi ZOR RP Serve Patriae.
Delegację Związku Oficerów Rezerwy, która wręczyła medale, stanowili: prezes ZOR RP płk. Alfred Kabata, wiceprezes ZOR RP koła Nowy Dwór Maz. Wiesława Karczmarczyk oraz członek ZG ZOR RP ppłk. Janusz Zajączkowski. Uroczystość obserwowali przedstawiciele innych formacji wojskowych, strażacy oraz wicestarosta nowodworski Andrzej Pacocha. Po części oficjalnej zgromadzeni obejrzeli rewelacyjnie wykonane patriotyczne przedstawienie, przeplatane pieśniami w wykonaniu chóru złożonego z uczniów i nauczycieli.
Patriotism with Class. A School That Not Only Teaches, But Serves
In a school near Warsaw, it was demonstrated that truly celebrating Independence is not an empty declaration, but concrete actions and attitudes. The local ceremony became a telling example of the social involvement of an educational institution.
On November 7, an assembly on the occasion of National Independence Day was held at the Educational Institutions Complex in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, which took the form of an exceptional mark of recognition. As the school reported, the Main Board of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth awarded the institution a gold medal for services to the ARO. This collective distinction forms the background for individual awards. Director Justyna Paszkiewicz received a silver medal for services to the Association of Reserve Officers. Meanwhile, Vice-Director Barbara Topolewska and teachers Marta Kanclerza and Urszula Harasimiuk were honored with the Association of Reserve Officers Merit Cross Serve Patriae.
The delegation of the Association of Reserve Officers, which presented the medals, consisted of: ARO President Col. Alfred Kabata, ARO Vice-President of the Nowy Dwór Maz. branch Wiesława Karczmarczyk, and MG ARO member Lt. Col. Janusz Zajączkowski. The ceremony was observed by representatives of other military formations, firefighters, and Nowy Dwór deputy starost Andrzej Pacocha. After the official part, the audience watched a patriotic performance interspersed with songs performed by a choir of students and teachers.
