23-IV-24r. uczniowie klas trzecich A i B Szkoły Podstawowej im. Jana Pawła II z Leoncina wyruszyli na niezapomnianą wycieczkę do historycznego Torunia. Dzień rozpoczął się od wizyty w Żywym Muzeum Piernika, gdzie uczestnicy mieli okazję własnoręcznie przygotować pierniki według pięciowiekowej tradycji. Następnie, w towarzystwie przewodnika, przemierzali malownicze uliczki Starego Miasta, mijając słynne miejsca takie jak Krzywa Wieża i pomnik Mikołaja Kopernika. Kolejne punkty to Katedra NMP, Fontanna ze złotymi żabkami oraz dom, w którym przypuszcza się, że urodził się Kopernik. Wycieczka zakończyła się seansami w planetarium, gdzie dzieci oglądały film edukacyjny „Cudowna podróż”. Dzień pełen edukacji i wrażeń estetycznych z pewnością pozostanie w pamięci młodych uczestników.
School trip to Toruń
On April 23, 2024, the students of classes 3a and 3b from the Jan Paweł II Primary School in Leoncin went on an unforgettable trip to the historical city of Toruń. The day began with a visit to the Living Gingerbread Museum, where participants had the chance to bake gingerbread cookies in a five-century-old tradition themselves. Then, accompanied by a guide, they walked through the picturesque streets of the Old Town, passing famous sites such as the Leaning Tower and the statue of Nicolaus Copernicus. Other highlights included the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary, the Fountain with Golden Frogs, and the house where Copernicus is presumed to have been born. The trip ended with sessions at the planetarium, where the children watched the educational film „Marvelous Journey”. A day full of education and aesthetic experiences will surely remain in the young participants’ memories.
