W tym tygodniu Magdalena Biernacka, starosta nowodworski, podpisała umowę dotacyjną z Piotrem Jeżółkowskim, reprezentującym Fundację Fort III Pomiechówek. Dzięki tej umowie Fundacja zorganizuje uroczystości upamiętniające 80. rocznicę likwidacji więzienia gestapo na Forcie III oraz największej masowej egzekucji.
Jednym z najważniejszych elementów tego wydarzenia będzie udział członków rodzin więźniów Fortu III oraz możliwość zwiedzania obiektu. To wyjątkowa okazja, by potomkowie osadzonych w tym miejscu, a także wszyscy mieszkańcy, mogli niemal dotknąć przeszłości i poczuć atmosferę tamtych tragicznych dni.
Wydarzenie zostało objęte honorowym patronatem Wicepremiera, Ministra Obrony Narodowej oraz Marszałka Województwa Mazowieckiego. Organizację wspierają również Instytut Pamięci Narodowej, 9 Brygada Wsparcia Dowodzenia Dowództwa Generalnego Rodzajów Sił Zbrojnych im. gen. dyw. Wiktora Thommée oraz 2 Mazowiecki Pułk Saperów.

Commemorative Ceremonies in Pomiechówek
This week, Magdalena Biernacka, the starosta of Nowy Dwór, signed a grant agreement with Piotr Jeżółkowski, representing the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation. Thanks to this agreement, the Foundation will organize ceremonies to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the liquidation of the Gestapo prison at Fort III and the largest mass execution.
A significant element of this event will be the participation of family members of the Fort III prisoners and the opportunity to tour the facility. This is a unique opportunity for the descendants of those imprisoned there, as well as all residents, to almost touch the past and feel the atmosphere of those tragic days.
The event is under the honorary patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defense, and the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The organization is also supported by the Institute of National Remembrance, the 9th Command Support Brigade of the General Command of the Armed Forces named after Major General Wiktor Thommee, and the 2nd Mazovian Engineering Regiment.
