Delegacja Centrum Szkolenia Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej odbyła wizytę w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Rozmowy z Gwardią Narodową stanu Illinois dotyczyły organizacji wspólnych szkoleń dla Terytorialsów. Tegoroczny program ma zostać rozszerzony o nowy kierunek szkolenia.
W dniach 23–28 II 2026 r. delegacja Centrum Szkolenia Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej, na czele z komendantem płk Marcinem Piwowarczykiem, przebywała w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Celem wizyty było doprecyzowanie szczegółów współpracy szkoleniowej z Gwardią Narodową stanu Illinois.
Podczas sześciodniowej wizyty roboczej przedstawiciele CSWOT przeprowadzili szereg odpraw koordynacyjnych dotyczących realizacji tegorocznych wspólnych przedsięwzięć szkoleniowych. W trakcie rozmów podjęto decyzje dotyczące organizacji kursów dla ponad stu żołnierzy Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej oraz uruchomienia nowego kierunku szkolenia.
„Wyjazd do USA pozwolił nam nie tylko dograć szczegóły tegorocznych kursów, ale także ich rozszerzenia o kolejny kierunek szkolenia z wykorzystywania na polu walki bezzałogowych statków powietrznych.” – powiedział płk Marcin Piwowarczyk, komendant Centrum Szkolenia WOT.
Tegoroczne szkolenia mają rozpocząć się pod koniec maja. Udział w nich weźmie ponad stu Terytorialsów z różnych brygad Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej. Do Centrum Szkolenia WOT przyjedzie kilkudziesięciu instruktorów ze Stanów Zjednoczonych, którzy wspólnie z kadrą dydaktyczną CSWOT przeprowadzą szkolenia instruktorskie dla snajperów i obserwatorów ognia, kursy dla ratowników pola walki oraz szkolenia dla operatorów przeciwpancernych pocisków kierowanych JAVELIN i operatorów bezzałogowych statków powietrznych.
W bieżącym roku żołnierze Centrum Szkolenia Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej ponownie będą reprezentować Polskę podczas organizowanych w Stanach Zjednoczonych zawodów „Best Warrior”. W 2025 r. reprezentanci CSWOT zajęli II miejsce w kategoriach podoficer oraz szeregowy.
Training Cooperation Across the Atlantic
A delegation from the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center visited the United States. Talks with the Illinois National Guard focused on organizing joint training for Territorial Defense soldiers. This year’s program is set to be expanded with a new training direction.
From February 23 to February 28, 2026, a delegation from the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center, led by its commander Colonel Marcin Piwowarczyk, visited the United States. The purpose of the trip was to finalize details of training cooperation with the Illinois National Guard.
During the six-day working visit, representatives of the CSWOT held a series of coordination briefings regarding the implementation of this year’s joint training initiatives. During the meetings, decisions were made regarding the organization of courses for more than one hundred Territorial Defense soldiers and the launch of a new training direction.
“The trip to the United States allowed us not only to finalize the details of this year’s courses but also to expand them with an additional training direction focused on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles on the battlefield,” said Colonel Marcin Piwowarczyk, commander of the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center.
This year’s training is scheduled to begin at the end of May. More than one hundred Territorial Defense soldiers from various Territorial Defense brigades will participate. Several dozen American instructors will come to the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center, where they will conduct training together with the CSWOT instructional staff. The program will include instructor training for snipers and fire observers, courses for combat medics, and training for operators of JAVELIN anti-tank guided missiles as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.
This year, soldiers from the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center will once again represent the Polish Armed Forces during the “Best Warrior” competition organized in the United States. In 2025, CSWOT representatives achieved II place in both the non-commissioned officer and private categories.
