20 XI 2025 r. w Galerii Harmonia w Gminnym Ośrodku Kultury w Pomiechówku odbył się wernisaż wyjątkowej wystawy poświęconej Saharze. – Autorzy opowiadali o swoich wieloletnich wyprawach, pokazując dodatkowe zdjęcia i filmy – także takie, które nie znalazły się na ścianach galerii – relacjonuje GOK. W centrum opowieści była Sahara nocą: zachwyt gwiaździstym niebem, ciszą, ogromem przestrzeni i poczuciem wolności.
Podczas spotkania można było obejrzeć pamiątki przywiezione z wypraw. – Przez ponad godzinę trwał dialog między Państwem Magdaleną i Waldemarem a przybyłymi gośćmi – dodają organizatorzy. Wystawę fotografii Magdaleny Oksańskiej i Waldemara Sokołowskiego można oglądać w Galerii Harmonia do 19 XII.
Sahara at Night in Pomiechówek
The Harmony Gallery at the Municipal Culture Center in Pomiechówek invites you on an extraordinary journey through the world’s largest desert. The photography exhibition by Magdalena Oksańska and Waldemar Sokołowski reveals the fascinating faces of the Sahara, especially at night.
On November 20, 2025, a vernissage for a unique exhibition dedicated to the Sahara was held at the Harmony Gallery in the Municipal Culture Center in Pomiechówek. „The authors spoke about their years of expeditions, showing additional photos and videos – including those not displayed on the gallery walls,” reports the GOK. The central theme of the story was the Sahara at night: the wonder of the starry sky, the silence, the vastness of space, and the sense of freedom that comes from being in the heart of the desert.
During the event, souvenirs brought back from the expeditions could be viewed. „For over an hour, a dialogue took place between Ms. Magdalena and Mr. Waldemar and the attending guests,” add the organizers. The photography exhibition by Magdalena Oksańska and Waldemar Sokołowski can be viewed at the Harmony Gallery until December 19.
