6-VII-2025 r. w Pieścirogach odbył się konkurs kulinarny „Mazowsze Jabłkiem Stoi!” połączony z turniejem gier planszowych, zorganizowany przez Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich „Sami Swoi” pod honorowym patronatem Magdaleny Biernackiej, Starosty Nowodworskiego.
Uczestnicy wydarzenia zachwycili komisję konkursową kunsztem i kreatywnością – każde z jabłkowych ciast miało unikalny smak i wygląd, co uczyniło wybór zwycięzców wyjątkowo trudnym. Ostatecznie nagrody otrzymali wszyscy autorzy wypieków, docenieni za zaangażowanie i pomysłowość. – „Nie sposób było wskazać jednego faworyta. Smaki i kompozycje – każda inna, każda doskonała” – przyznał jeden z jurorów.
Równolegle z kulinarną częścią odbył się turniej gier planszowych – rozgrywano warcaby, chińczyka i szachy. Emocje przy planszach nie ustępowały tym z kuchni – najlepsi zawodnicy zostali nagrodzeni medalami, pucharami oraz upominkami.
Spotkanie przebiegało w serdecznej atmosferze i przyciągnęło licznych mieszkańców – zarówno pasjonatów kuchni, jak i miłośników planszówek. Wydarzenie potwierdziło żywotność lokalnych inicjatyw i siłę wspólnoty w sercu Mazowsza.
Apples, Games, and Community – A Festive Day in Pieścirogi
On July 6, 2025, the village of Pieścirogi hosted the culinary contest “Mazowsze Jabłkiem Stoi!” and a board game tournament, organized by the “Sami Swoi” Village Housewives’ Circle under the honorary patronage of Magdalena Biernacka, Starost of Nowy Dwór County.
Contestants impressed the jury with their skill and creativity – each apple-based cake had a unique taste and appearance, making the judges’ task exceptionally difficult. In the end, all cake creators received awards for their effort and imagination. – “There was no way to choose a single favorite. The flavors and designs – each different, each perfect,” said one juror.
Simultaneously, a board game tournament was held, featuring checkers, Chinese checkers, and chess. The excitement around the game boards matched that of the kitchen – the top players were awarded medals, trophies, and gifts.
The event was held in a warm, welcoming atmosphere and attracted many residents – from culinary enthusiasts to board game fans. It showcased the vibrancy of local initiatives and the strength of community life in the heart of Mazovia.
