15-VIII-2026 r. członkowie Okręgu Podkarpackiego Związku Oficerów Rezerwy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej uczestniczyli w obchodach Święta Wojska Polskiego oraz 106. rocznicy Bitwy Warszawskiej w Stalowej Woli. Okręg reprezentowali Krzysztof Pąk i Mariusz Świeca. Organizatorem uroczystości było Miasto Stalowa Wola.
Od godziny 10.00 mieszkańcy mogli oglądać okolicznościową wystawę na parkingu za kościołem pw. Matki Bożej Szkaplerznej w Rozwadowie. Na ekspozycji pokazano sprzęt i wyposażenie wojskowe jednostek Garnizonu Nisko oraz sprzęt produkowany przez Hutę Stalowa Wola S.A. Przygotowano także stanowiska promocyjne jednostek wojskowych. Nie zabrakło tradycyjnej żołnierskiej grochówki.
Oficjalne obchody rozpoczęły się o 4.00 po poł. Mszą Świętą w intencji Wojska Polskiego i Ojczyzny, odprawioną w kościele pw. Matki Bożej Szkaplerznej. W uroczystości uczestniczyli żołnierze Kompanii Honorowej oraz poczet sztandarowy Garnizonu Nisko. Po zakończeniu Mszy Świętej uczestnicy złożyli kwiaty pod pamiątkową tablicą znajdującą się przy kościele.
Następnie na płytę rozwadowskiego rynku wyruszyła uroczysta defilada z udziałem Kompanii Honorowej Wojska Polskiego – Garnizonu Nisko, mażoretek oraz Orkiestry Dętej Miejskiego Domu Kultury w Stalowej Woli. Tam odbyła się główna część oficjalnych uroczystości wojskowych.
Po oficjalnych uroczystościach uczestnicy mogli odwiedzić miasteczko historyczne przygotowane na rozwadowskim rynku. Tegoroczne obchody były okazją do wyrażenia szacunku i wdzięczności wszystkim, którzy pełnią służbę na rzecz bezpieczeństwa Ojczyzny.
Reservists at the feast of arms
On August 15, 2026, members of the Subcarpathian District of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth took part in the celebrations of Polish Army Day and the 106th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw in Stalowa Wola. The District was represented by Krzysztof Pąk and Mariusz Świeca. The organizer of the ceremonies was the City of Stalowa Wola.
From 10:00 a.m. residents could view a commemorative exhibition on the parking lot behind the Church of Our Lady of the Scapular in Rozwadów. The display presented military equipment and gear of the units of the Nisko Garrison as well as equipment manufactured by Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. Promotional stands of military units were also prepared. Traditional soldiers’ pea soup was not missing.
The official celebrations began at 4:00 p.m. with a Holy Mass in the intention of the Polish Army and the Homeland, celebrated in the Church of Our Lady of the Scapular. Soldiers of the Honour Company and the colour party of the Nisko Garrison took part in the ceremony. After the Holy Mass the participants laid flowers at the commemorative plaque located by the church.
Then a ceremonial parade set out for the market square in Rozwadów with the participation of the Honour Company of the Polish Army – Nisko Garrison, majorettes and the Brass Band of the Municipal Cultural Centre in Stalowa Wola. There the main part of the official military ceremonies took place.
After the official ceremonies the participants could visit the historical town prepared on the Rozwadów market square. This year’s celebrations were an opportunity to express respect and gratitude to all who serve for the security of the Homeland.
