Samochód szybko namierzył policjant drogówki z Legionowa, który pełnił służbę na terenie Skrzeszewa. Na ulicy Nowodworskiej zablokował hyundaia i zatrzymał kierowcę.
Od mężczyzny, mieszkańca Warszawy, wyraźnie czuć było alkohol. Podczas interwencji stał się agresywny – groził funkcjonariuszowi i znieważał go wulgarnymi słowami.
Jak ustalili śledczy, 32-latek jest instruktorem sztuk walki. Odpowie przed sądem za kierowanie pojazdem w stanie nietrzeźwości, uszkodzenie mienia, znieważenie funkcjonariusza publicznego oraz groźby karalne.
Postępowanie nadzoruje Prokuratura Rejonowa w Legionowie. Komenda Powiatowa Policji w Legionowie opublikowała apel przypominający, by nie reagować obojętnie na nietrzeźwych kierowców.
Zwraca uwagę, że taki kierowca może w każdej chwili spowodować tragedię. Komenda zachęca do dzwonienia pod numer 112 i podawania marki, koloru, numeru rejestracyjnego, kierunku jazdy oraz miejsca, w którym znajduje się samochód.

Drunk 32-year-old smashed a window and threatened an officer
A drunk 32-year-old behind the wheel of a Hyundai was posing a serious danger on the road in the Wieliszew commune. On August 5, 2026, around 9:30 a.m., a witness driving behind the dangerously operated vehicle reported the situation to the police. The driver was making abrupt maneuvers, which according to the report suggested he might be under the influence of alcohol.
The witness attempted to stop the car. At that point the 32-year-old smashed the witness’s window and sped away. The dispatcher immediately broadcast the vehicle description and direction of escape to all patrols. The car was quickly located by a traffic officer from Legionowo who was on duty in the Skrzeszew area. On Nowodworska Street he blocked the Hyundai and detained the driver.
A strong smell of alcohol was clearly noticeable from the 32-year-old Warsaw resident. During the intervention he became aggressive, threatened the officer and insulted him with vulgar words. Investigators determined that the man is a martial arts instructor. He will face court charges for driving under the influence, damaging property, insulting a public official and making criminal threats. The case is supervised by the Legionowo District Prosecutor’s Office.
The Legionowo County Police Headquarters published an appeal reminding people not to remain indifferent to drunk drivers. It points out that such a driver can cause a tragedy at any moment. The headquarters encourages calling 112 and providing the make, color, registration number, direction of travel and location of the vehicle. At the same time it advises against attempting to stop a drunk driver oneself or putting one’s own safety at risk.
