Drużyna chłopców U12 ze Szkoły Podstawowej im. gen. Wiktora Thommee w Pomiechówku znakomicie zaprezentowała się podczas XXVI finałów wojewódzkich o Puchar Tymbarku. Młodzi piłkarze reprezentowali powiat nowodworski.
Turniej odbył się 19-V-2026r. Zespół z Pomiechówka zakończył rywalizację grupową na II miejscu, przegrywając jedynie z późniejszym triumfatorem całych finałów – SMS Legią Warszawa.
Młodzi zawodnicy rozpoczęli zmagania od wysokiego zwycięstwa nad PSP Winnica 6:0. W kolejnym meczu pokonali Jedynkę Szydłowiec 4:0.
Jedyną porażkę ponieśli w spotkaniu z SMS Legią Warszawa, ulegając stołecznej drużynie 0:9.
Mimo zakończenia turnieju na etapie grupowym występ reprezentantów Pomiechówka został bardzo wysoko oceniony przez szkolną społeczność. Drużynie pogratulowano ambitnej postawy i sportowej walki podczas wojewódzkiego finału.
Puchar Tymbarku pozostaje jednym z największych i najbardziej prestiżowych turniejów piłkarskich dla dzieci w Polsce.

The U12 boys’ team from General Wiktor Thommee Primary School in Pomiechówek delivered an impressive performance during the 26th Voivodeship Finals of the Tymbark Cup. The young footballers represented Nowy Dwór County.
The tournament took place on May 19, 2026. The team from Pomiechówek finished second in the group stage, losing only to the eventual tournament champions — SMS Legia Warsaw.
The young players began the competition with a commanding 6–0 victory over PSP Winnica. In the next match, they defeated Jedynka Szydłowiec 4–0.
Their only defeat came against SMS Legia Warsaw, losing 0–9 to the capital city team.
Despite ending the tournament at the group stage, the performance of the Pomiechówek representatives was highly praised by the school community. The team received congratulations for its determination and sporting attitude during the voivodeship finals.
The Tymbark Cup remains one of the largest and most prestigious football tournaments for children in Poland.
