Biuro Prewencji Komendy Głównej Policji inicjuje ogólnopolski konkurs „Policjant, który mi pomógł”, mający na celu promowanie postaw i umiejętności policjantów aktywnie zaangażowanych w pomoc osobom pokrzywdzonym. Konkurs stanowi platformę do wyróżnienia funkcjonariuszy wykazujących się profesjonalizmem, empatią i skutecznością w indywidualnej pomocy.
Inicjatywa ta jest wyrazem otwartości polskiej Policji na społeczną ocenę i dowodem uznania dla działań funkcjonariuszy na rzecz bezpieczeństwa obywateli. Nominacja w konkursie jest szczególnym wyróżnieniem, podkreślającym zaangażowanie policjantów w tworzenie bezpiecznego środowiska lokalnego.

Wyboru laureatów dokona Komisja składająca się z przedstawiciela Biura Prewencji KGP oraz laureatów trzech ostatnich edycji konkursu.
Podczas oceny kandydatur, Komisja będzie szczególnie uwzględniać zaangażowanie nominowanych w działania na rzecz poprawy bezpieczeństwa i wsparcia osób krzywdzonych.

National Contest “The Police Officer Who Helped Me” Highlights Dedication and Professionalism
The Prevention Office of the National Police Headquarters has launched the national contest “The Police Officer Who Helped Me”, aimed at promoting the attitudes and skills of officers actively involved in assisting victims. This initiative serves as a platform to recognize officers who demonstrate exceptional professionalism, empathy, and effectiveness in individual support, particularly for victims of domestic violence.
This initiative reflects the openness of the Polish Police to public evaluation and serves as an acknowledgment of the officers’ efforts towards citizen safety. Being nominated in this contest is a special distinction, highlighting the officers’ commitment to creating a safe local environment.
The contest not only enhances the positive image of the Police but also emphasizes the importance of officers’ personal involvement in developing the local support system. Being honored in this national contest signifies the local community’s recognition of the officers’ professionalism and determination in supportive actions.
Individuals, institutions, or organizations can submit nominations for the contest, with a deadline of May 31, 2024. Nomination forms can be sent to the email address: policjantktorymipomogl@policja.gov.pl. The winners will be selected by a Committee comprising a representative from the Prevention Office of the National Police Headquarters and the winners of the last three editions of the contest.
In evaluating the nominees, the Committee will particularly consider their commitment to improving citizen safety and assisting those suspected of being victimized.
