Drunk 32-year-old threatened officer after chase in Skrzeszew
A drunk 32-year-old behind the wheel of a Hyundai created a real danger on the road by making abrupt maneuvers. On August 5, 2026, around 9:30 a.m., a witness driving behind him reported the dangerous driving and informed that the driver might be under the influence of alcohol.
When the witness attempted to stop the vehicle, the man became aggressive – he smashed the window of the reporting driver’s car and sped away abruptly. The duty officer immediately passed the vehicle description and direction of escape to all patrols in the area. The car was quickly located by an officer from the Traffic Department of the County Police Headquarters in Legionowo, who was on solo duty at the time.
The intervention took place in Skrzeszew on Nowodworska Street. The Hyundai driver tried to flee again, but the officer blocked his path and stopped him. A strong smell of alcohol was clearly noticeable from the 32-year-old resident of Warsaw. The man refused to follow orders, threatened the officer and insulted him with vulgar words. Investigators established that the 32-year-old is a martial arts instructor.
He will face court for driving under the influence, damaging property, insulting a public official and making criminal threats. The proceedings are supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Legionowo.
