The magic of cinema returns to the historic Officers’ Casino. On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, film art enthusiasts will be able to immerse themselves in the charming world of „Amélie” – the iconic picture by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Admission to the screening and the accompanying meeting is free.
The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a lecture by Patrycja Mucha, PhD in Humanities and film critic. The expert will introduce the audience to the atmosphere of Parisian streets, dreams, and the small miracles of everyday life that are the essence of the film’s story. The screening will start half an hour later, at 7:00 p.m.
„Amélie” is a captivating story of a young woman who decides to change the world through small, good deeds. The film, enchanting with its fairy-tale aesthetics and unforgettable role by Audrey Tautou, won four César Awards and five European Film Awards. The soundtrack composed by Yann Tiersen also gained worldwide popularity.
