23-VIII-2026 r. na Cmentarzu Partyzanckim w Wierszach odbyły się uroczystości upamiętniające 82. rocznicę walk Grupy AK Kampinos. Wydarzenie zgromadziło mieszkańców, kombatantów, służby mundurowe, Związek Oficerów Rezerwy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej oraz lokalną społeczność.
Uroczystość odbyła się pod honorowym patronatem wiceprezesa Rady Ministrów, ministra obrony narodowej Władysława Kosiniaka-Kamysza. Centralnym punktem była Msza Święta w intencji poległych żołnierzy Grupy AK Kampinos oraz mieszkańców Niepodległej Rzeczpospolitej Kampinoskiej. Odprawił ją ks. Grzegorz Pielaszek, proboszcz parafii Wiersze. Oprawę muzyczną zapewnił Chór Czosnowianie.
Po liturgii głos zabrała wójt Gminy Czosnów Anna Maliszewska, witając delegacje i gości. Następnie przedstawiciele Gminy Czosnów wraz z delegacją z Gminy Leszno oraz radnym Antonim Kręźlewiczem – jednym z inicjatorów budowy pomnika Niepodległej Rzeczpospolitej Kampinoskiej – złożyli wieniec pod pomnikiem.
Kolejnym punktem był Apel Pamięci z udziałem Kompanii Honorowej 2. Mazowieckiego Pułku Saperów. Delegacje i mieszkańcy złożyli kwiaty i wieńce, oddając hołd bohaterom Grupy Kampinos.
Po części oficjalnej uczestnicy spotkali się na poczęstunku, który stał się okazją do rozmów, wspomnień i spotkań międzypokoleniowych.
Memory of the Kampinos Group
On August 23, 2026, at the Partisan Cemetery in Wiersze, ceremonies commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the fights of the AK Kampinos Group took place. The event gathered residents, veterans, uniformed services and the local community.
The ceremony was held under the honorary patronage of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. The central point was a Holy Mass for the fallen soldiers of the AK Kampinos Group and the residents of the Independent Republic of Kampinos. It was celebrated by Fr. Grzegorz Pielaszek, parish priest of Wiersze. The musical setting was provided by the Czosnowianie Choir.
After the liturgy, the floor was taken by the head of Gmina Czosnów, Anna Maliszewska, who welcomed the delegations and guests. Then representatives of Gmina Czosnów together with a delegation from Gmina Leszno and councillor Antoni Kręźlewicz – one of the initiators of the construction of the monument to the Independent Republic of Kampinos – laid a wreath at the monument.
The next point was the Roll Call of the Fallen with the participation of the Honor Company of the 2nd Mazovian Sapper Regiment. Delegations and residents laid flowers and wreaths, paying tribute to the heroes of the Kampinos Group.
After the official part the participants met for a reception, which became an opportunity for conversations, memories and intergenerational meetings.
