Discover the secrets of the Modlin Fortress. Guided tour on July 19
On Sunday, July 19, a three-hour guided tour will take place at the Modlin Fortress, combining a visit to the historic interiors of the Officers’ Casino with a walk through key sites of the fortress. The event is organized by the Modlin Fortress Tourist Information Center. The ticket for the full route also includes entry to the Museum of the September Campaign and the Modlin Fortress.
The tour will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the Officers’ Casino. A guide will lead the group through the restored halls, presenting the history of the building and anecdotes about former garrison life. Participants will then walk through the Park of Three Cultures and the Tsar’s Blocks, reaching the Napoleon Redoubt. During the walk, visitors will see the massive fortifications and murals referring to the fortress’s history.
Organizers have prepared two ticket options. The first includes only a guided tour of the Officers’ Casino. The second, full route, also covers the walk across the Modlin Fortress grounds. The number of places is limited.
