19 III 2026 r. w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim odbyły się doroczne obchody imienin Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego. Uroczystość zgromadziła przedstawicieli władz, wojska, szkół i mieszkańców. W centrum wydarzeń znalazł się pomnik Marszałka, przy którym złożono kwiaty.
Obchody zorganizowano z inicjatywy Związku Oficerów Rezerwy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Uroczystość rozpoczęła się wprowadzeniem posterunku honorowego przez żołnierzy z 2 Mazowieckiego Pułku Saperów w Kazuniu Nowym, a następnie odegraniem hymnu państwowego. Po nim głos zabrał prezes Zarządu Głównego Związku Oficerów Rezerwy RP płk. w st. spocz. Alfred Kabata, który wygłosił przemówienie okolicznościowe.
W wydarzeniu uczestniczyli przedstawiciele władz samorządowych, w tym burmistrz Nowego Dworu Mazowieckiego Sebastian Sosiński oraz wicestarosta nowodworski Andrzej Pacocha. Obecni byli także reprezentanci wojska, organizacji pozarządowych, szkół ponadpodstawowych oraz Warsztatów Terapii Zajęciowej. Licznie stawili się uczniowie, szczególnie z Zespołu Szkół nr II i Zespołu Placówek Edukacyjnych.
Następnie delegacje samorządu, Związku Oficerów Rezerwy RP oraz placówek edukacyjnych złożyły kwiaty pod pomnikiem Marszałka, oddając hołd jednemu z najważniejszych bohaterów w historii Polski. Na zakończenie głos zabrał burmistrz Sebastian Sosiński. Zwieńczeniem obchodów było wspólne odśpiewanie pieśni „My, Pierwsza Brygada”.
Uroczystość poprowadził ppłk. w st. spocz. Janusz Zajączkowski, prezes Okręgu Mazowieckiego Związku Oficerów Rezerwy Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej. Organizatorzy podziękowali uczestnikom za obecność oraz wspólne pielęgnowanie pamięci o Marszałku.
Marshal’s name day. Nowy Dwór paid tribute to Piłsudski
On March 19, 2026, annual celebrations of Marshal Józef Piłsudski’s name day took place in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The ceremony brought together representatives of local authorities, the military, schools, and residents. The central point of the event was the Marshal’s monument, where flowers were laid.
The celebrations were organized on the initiative of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth. The ceremony began with the introduction of the honor guard by soldiers of the 2nd Mazovian Sapper Regiment in Kazun Nowy, followed by the national anthem. Then the President of the Main Board of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth, Colonel (ret.) Alfred Kabata, delivered a ceremonial speech.
The event was attended by representatives of local government, including the Mayor of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Sebastian Sosiński, and the Deputy Starost of Nowy Dwór, Andrzej Pacocha. Representatives of the military, non-governmental organizations, secondary schools, and Occupational Therapy Workshops were also present. A significant number of students attended, particularly from School Complex No. II and the Educational Institutions Complex.
Subsequently, delegations of local authorities, the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth, and educational institutions laid flowers at the Marshal’s monument, paying tribute to one of the most important heroes in Polish history. At the end, Mayor Sebastian Sosiński addressed the participants. The celebration concluded with a joint singing of the song “We, the First Brigade.”
The ceremony was led by Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) Janusz Zajączkowski, President of the Mazovian District of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth. The organizers thanked all participants for their presence and for jointly cultivating the memory of the Marshal.

On March 19, 2026, annual ceremonial celebrations of the name day of Marshal Józef Piłsudski took place in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, organized on the initiative of the Association of Reserve Officers of the Polish Commonwealth.
As every year, participants gathered at the Marshal’s monument to jointly pay tribute to one of the most important heroes in the history of the Polish Commonwealth.
The event was attended by representatives of the military, local government authorities, schools, non-governmental organizations, and residents of the town. The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by commemorative speeches.
The culmination of the celebrations was the laying of flowers at the Marshal’s monument – a symbol of remembrance, gratitude, and respect.
The organizers thanked all participants for their presence and for jointly cultivating the memory of Józef Piłsudski.
