W niedzielę, 7 -IX, na warszawskim Placu Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego odbyła się uroczysta promocja oficerska. Wśród 176 awansowanych na stopień podporucznika znaleźli się żołnierze 6 Mazowieckiej Brygady Obrony Terytorialnej.
Uroczystość stanowiła zwieńczenie trudnego kursu „Agrykola”, prowadzonego w trybie stacjonarno-rotacyjnym. – Potrzeba dużo przygotowań i nauki, jednak trzeba podjąć rękawicę i skończyć to, co się zaczęło – mówiła nowo mianowana ppor. Anna z 6MBOT. – Najtrudniejsze było zorganizowanie czasu, by pogodzić pracę z wojskiem i życiem rodzinnym – dodała. Aktu promocji dokonali generałowie brygady: Jan Wojno, Sławomir Dudczak i Mirosław Spurek. Żołnierze wypowiedzieli rotę ślubowania, zobowiązując się do wiernej służby Ojczyźnie.
New Officers Reach for the Stars
On Sunday, September 7, an solemn officer promotion ceremony took place at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square in Warsaw. Among the 176 soldiers promoted to the rank of second lieutenant were soldiers from the 6th Masovian Territorial Defense Brigade.
The ceremony marked the culmination of the difficult „Agrykola” course, conducted in a stationary-rotational mode. „It requires a lot of preparation and study, but you have to take up the gauntlet and finish what you started,” said newly appointed 2nd Lt. Anna from the 6MBOT. „The hardest part was organizing time to balance work with the military and family life,” she added. The act of promotion was performed by Brigadier Generals: Jan Wojno, Sławomir Dudczak, and Mirosław Spurek. The soldiers recited the oath of allegiance, committing to faithful service to the Homeland.
