Po wielu latach planowania i intensywnych uzgodnień, projekt przebudowy Nasielskiego Ośrodka Kultury oraz rewitalizacji przyległego skweru doczekał się aprobaty Mazowieckiego Wojewódzkiego Konserwatora Zabytków. Teraz, nadszedł czas na realizację tej długo oczekiwanej inwestycji, która ma tchnąć nowe życie w serce Nasielska.
Burmistrz Radosław Kasiak przedstawił ambitny plan, który obejmuje rozbudowę Nasielskiego Ośrodka Kultury oraz modernizację pobliskich ulic. Projekt został podzielony na etapy, a pierwszy z nich skupia się głównie na odnowieniu skweru i budowie nowych parkingów przy ulicy Składowej.
Zmiany obejmą przede wszystkim nowe nawierzchnie dla ścieżek i chodników, wzorowane na tych znajdujących się na skwerze Jana Pawła II, co poprawi estetykę i komfort spacerowiczów. Przy ulicy Składowej powstaną 42 nowe miejsca parkingowe, co ułatwi mieszkańcom dostęp do centrum miasta. Ponadto, planowane jest wyprofilowanie zejść z jezdni do poziomu skweru poprzez budowę schodów i pochylni, spełniających wymogi dostępności dla osób niepełnosprawnych.
Istniejący pomnik na skwerze zostanie poddany gruntownemu remontowi, a fontanna zostanie przebudowana, stając się centralnym punktem rekreacyjnym. Nowe oświetlenie LED, w liczbie 28 lamp, zostanie zamontowane, co poprawi bezpieczeństwo i estetykę przestrzeni po zmroku.
W planach jest także nasadzenie 48 nowych drzew lipy srebrzystej, odpornej na suszę, które wzbogacą zieleń miejską. Niestety, ze względu na inwentaryzację, konieczne będzie usunięcie 19 drzew, które nie stanowią wartościowego drzewostanu. Dodatkowo, nowy liściasty żywopłot zapewni izolację akustyczną skweru od ulic Kościuszki i Składowej, tworząc spokojniejszą przestrzeń.
W zachodniej części skweru pojawi się mały plac zabaw oraz miejsce do ćwiczeń na świeżym powietrzu, które z pewnością przypadną do gustu młodzieży. Modernizacja systemu kanalizacji deszczowej poprawi odwodnienie i funkcjonowanie całej infrastruktury skweru. Nowe ławki, kosze i kwietniki, wzorowane na tych ze skweru Jana Pawła II, zapewnią komfort i estetykę. Istniejący kiosk zostanie usunięty, co pozwoli na lepsze wykorzystanie przestrzeni.
Realizacja tego projektu ma na celu uczynienie Nasielska jeszcze bardziej przyjaznym i atrakcyjnym miejscem do życia. Nowe inwestycje w infrastrukturę miejską przyniosą wiele korzyści społeczności lokalnej, czyniąc Nasielsk piękniejszym i bardziej funkcjonalnym. Wspólnie budujemy lepszy Nasielsk!

A New Life for Nasielsk’s Cultural Center
After many years of planning and extensive negotiations, the project to renovate and expand the Nasielsk Cultural Center and revitalize the adjacent square has finally received approval from the Mazovian Voivodeship Conservator of Monuments. Now, it is time to implement this long-awaited investment that aims to breathe new life into the heart of Nasielsk.
Mayor Radosław Kasiak has presented an ambitious plan that includes the expansion of the Nasielsk Cultural Center and the modernization of the surrounding streets. The project has been divided into phases, with the first phase focusing mainly on the refurbishment of the square and the construction of new parking spaces on Składowa Street.
The changes will include new surfaces for paths and sidewalks, modeled after those found on John Paul II Square, enhancing both the aesthetics and the convenience for pedestrians. Składowa Street will see the addition of 42 new parking spaces, making it easier for residents to access the town center. Additionally, there will be graded access from the road to the square with the construction of stairs and ramps that meet accessibility standards for people with disabilities.
The existing monument on the square will undergo a thorough renovation, and the fountain will be refurbished, becoming a central point of relaxation. New LED lighting, consisting of 28 lamps, will be installed to improve the safety and beauty of the area after dark.
The plans also include planting 48 new drought-resistant silver lime trees to enrich the urban greenery. Unfortunately, based on an inventory, 19 trees that do not constitute a valuable canopy will need to be removed. A new leafy hedge will provide acoustic isolation from Kościuszki and Składowa Streets, creating a quieter space.
A small playground and an outdoor exercise area will be established in the western part of the square, which will surely be popular with the youth. The modernization of the stormwater drainage system will improve the functionality and drainage of the square’s infrastructure. New benches, bins, and planters, similar to those on John Paul II Square, will be added to enhance comfort and aesthetics. The existing kiosk will be removed, allowing for better utilization of space.
This project aims to make Nasielsk an even more welcoming and attractive place to live. The new investments in urban infrastructure are expected to bring many benefits to the local community, making Nasielsk more beautiful and functional. Together, we are building a better Nasielsk!
