W sobotę 7-VI-25r. w Płocku odbędzie się Diecezjalny Zjazd Liturgicznej Służby Ołtarza – wydarzenie szczególne, organizowane z okazji 950-lecia istnienia Diecezji Płockiej. Na wspólne świętowanie zaproszeni są wszyscy ministranci, lektorzy, ceremoniarze oraz opiekunowie grup LSO z parafii całej diecezji.
Zjazd będzie nie tylko okazją do integracji i spotkania młodych ludzi związanych z liturgią, ale przede wszystkim momentem modlitwy i dziękczynienia za pokolenia wiernych, którzy przez wieki służyli przy ołtarzach Chrystusa.
– To czas, byśmy razem – jako jedna wspólnota – wyrazili wdzięczność za dar wiary oraz piękno służby liturgicznej. Pamiętajmy także o tych, którzy byli przed nami. Ich świadectwo i poświęcenie dają nam dziś siłę i dumę z tego, że możemy służyć Bogu przy Jego ołtarzu – przypominają organizatorzy z Duszpasterstwa Służby Liturgicznej Diecezji Płockiej.
Wszyscy uczestnicy proszeni są o zabranie:
– strojów liturgicznych,
– sztandarów ministranckich,
– flag parafialnych LSO,
– transparentów z nazwami parafii.
Zgromadzenie ministrantów i lektorów będzie miało charakter wspólnotowy, formacyjny i modlitewny. Zjazd wpisuje się w trwające obchody wielkiego jubileuszu najstarszej diecezji Mazowsza, której początki sięgają XI wieku.
Organizatorzy zachęcają, by parafie licznie reprezentowały swoje wspólnoty liturgiczne i dały świadectwo żywej wiary oraz wierności Kościołowi.
Altar servers and lectors of the Diocese of Płock to gather in celebration
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, altar servers, lectors, and ceremoniaries from across the Diocese of Płock will gather for the Diocesan Assembly of Liturgical Service – a special event held in thanksgiving for the 950th anniversary of the Diocese’s founding.
The meeting will be both a joyful celebration and a solemn act of gratitude for generations of the faithful who have served at the altars of Christ throughout the centuries.
– Let us come together as one community of service to express our thanks for the gift of faith and the dignity of liturgical ministry. Let us also remember those who served before us – their example is our strength and inspiration – say the organizers from the Pastoral Ministry of the Liturgical Service of the Diocese of Płock.
Participants are asked to bring:
– liturgical vestments,
– altar server banners,
– parish LSO flags,
– banners with parish names.
This diocesan gathering of the LSO is both a spiritual and fraternal event, and part of the ongoing jubilee celebrations of the ancient Diocese of Płock – one of the oldest in Poland, dating back to the 11th century.
Parishes are encouraged to be strongly represented and to bear witness to living faith and fidelity to the Church.
