W 2026 r. w Modlinie Starym ruszą prace modernizacyjne basenu miejskiego i boiska wielofunkcyjnego. Gmina Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki pozyskała już na ten cel 700 tys. zł z funduszy wojewódzkich.
Burmistrz Sebastian Sosiński ogłosił, że miasto uzyskało 500 tys. zł z Mazowieckiego Programu Rozwoju Bazy Sportowej. Pieniądze przeznaczone będą na modernizację miejskiej pływalni. Dodatkowo, Zarząd Województwa Mazowieckiego wystawił rekomendację do złożenia wniosku o kolejne 500 tys. zł – tym razem z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki.
– Ten wniosek też już złożyliśmy i czekamy na decyzję – poinformował burmistrz. – O dokładnym zakresie prac będę jeszcze Państwa informował.
Równocześnie samorząd pozyskał 200 tys. zł z programu „Mazowsze dla Sportu”. Środki zostaną przeznaczone na remont boiska wielofunkcyjnego przy Zespole Szkolno-Przedszkolnym nr 3 w Modlinie Starym. W planach przewidziano m.in. wymianę nawierzchni boiska i bieżni.
Prace mają zostać zrealizowane w 2026 r. – po zakończeniu procedur przetargowych i wyborze wykonawców.
Millions for Modlin: pool and sports field to be renovated
In 2026, renovation work will begin on the municipal swimming pool and multipurpose sports field in Modlin Stary. The Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki commune has already secured PLN 700,000 from regional funds for this purpose.
Mayor Sebastian Sosiński announced that the city received PLN 500,000 from the Mazovian Program for the Development of Sports Infrastructure. The funds will be used to modernize the local swimming pool. Additionally, the Mazovian Voivodeship Board issued a recommendation for another PLN 500,000 application — this time from the Ministry of Sports and Tourism.
— We’ve already submitted that application and are awaiting the decision — said the mayor. — I’ll keep you informed about the exact scope of work.
At the same time, the municipality obtained PLN 200,000 from the “Mazovia for Sport” program. These funds will be used to renovate the multipurpose field at the School and Preschool Complex No. 3 in Modlin Stary. Planned upgrades include replacing the sports field surface and track surface.
All works are expected to take place in 2026, following the completion of bidding procedures and contractor selection.
