Hania made the final but did not get to dance
Twelve-year-old Hania Ksel of the Kumgang Dance Academy qualified for the final of a dance competition at the National Stadium in Warsaw. Out of more than 1,000 entries, she made it into the group of the 208 best dancers, and over several elimination rounds she beat 194 rivals.
However, she did not perform the final dance she had worked so hard for. According to the academy, because of organizational difficulties, very limited time and a lack of proper announcements, they did not manage to arrive in time for her last performance. The club admits it is a hard lesson, especially for a twelve-year-old dancer, but stresses that this day does not determine either her abilities or her future.
The academy calls her appearance at the National Stadium the first step toward Hania's big dreams and asks people to leave her some kind words in the comments under the post. Thanks went to coach Konrad Wolski, who supported the dancer from Los Angeles. The Kumgang Dance Academy holds classes for children and teenagers in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and Czosnów.
