Kampinoski Park Narodowy świętował pierwszą rocznicę ponownego otwarcia Muzeum Puszczy Kampinoskiej w Granicy. Miejsce to, po siedmiu latach modernizacji, stało się symbolem edukacji, tradycji i miłości do lasu.
W budynkach dawnej leśnej osady – niegdyś siedzibie Nadleśnictwa Kampinos – powstały nowoczesne przestrzenie wystawiennicze, dydaktyczne i audiowizualne. Ekspozycja ukazuje zarówno historię samej puszczy, jak i ludzi, którzy ją od wieków zamieszkiwali i chronili.
– „Jest tam w ziemi sochaczewskiej u Kapinossa puszcza wielka…” – przypomniano słowa lustratora królewskiego z 1565 r., które stanowią pierwsze pisemne świadectwo istnienia Puszczy Kampinoskiej.
Rocznicowe obchody były okazją do podsumowania rocznego dorobku muzeum, które przez dwanaście miesięcy odwiedziły tysiące zwiedzających – w tym szkoły, mieszkańcy i miłośnicy przyrody. Otwarcie obiektu w 2024 r. uświetnił koncert zespołu Mazowsze, a w wydarzeniu wzięli udział przedstawiciele Ministerstwa Klimatu i Środowiska, powiatów, samorządów, instytucji kultury i nauki oraz organizacji społecznych.
A year since reopening. Granica tells the story of the forest again
On June 24, 2025, the Kampinos National Park celebrated the first anniversary of the reopening of the Kampinos Forest Museum in Granica. After seven years of modernization, the site has become a symbol of education, heritage, and love for the forest.
In the buildings of the former forest settlement – once the headquarters of the Kampinos Forest District – modern exhibition, educational, and audiovisual spaces were created. The display highlights both the history of the forest and the people who have inhabited and protected it for centuries.
– “There is in the Sochaczew land, near Kapinos, a great forest…” – the royal inspector wrote in 1565, providing the first known written record of the Kampinos Forest.
The anniversary celebration was an opportunity to summarize a year of the museum’s activity, during which it welcomed thousands of visitors – including schools, local residents, and nature enthusiasts. The 2024 opening was marked by a concert from the Mazowsze ensemble and attended by representatives of the Ministry of Climate and Environment, regional and local governments, cultural and scientific institutions, and community organizations.
