27-VII-2025 r. o godz. 2.00 po poł. na terenie Fortu III w Pomiechówku odbędą się uroczystości upamiętniające 81. rocznicę likwidacji więzienia gestapo i największej masowej egzekucji w tym miejscu.
W cieniu białych krzyży, na cmentarzu ofiar niemieckiego obozu przejściowego i więzienia karno-śledczego w Pomiechówku, zgromadzą się mieszkańcy regionu, przedstawiciele władz samorządowych, Fundacji Fort III Pomiechówek oraz reprezentanci Wojska Polskiego, by oddać hołd zamordowanym. Jak co roku, głównym punktem uroczystości będzie Msza Święta polowa, a także przemówienia okolicznościowe i Apel Pamięci. Ceremonia zakończy się złożeniem wieńców na cmentarzu oraz prezentacją sprzętu wojskowego przez Jeep Willys Club Polska.

Wydarzenie wpisuje się w szerszy projekt edukacyjno-historyczny „Fort III Pomiechówek – historia i tradycja”, na realizację którego Fundacja Fort III Pomiechówek otrzymała 27.500 zł dotacji z Ministerstwa Obrony Narodowej. Całkowity koszt przedsięwzięcia to 34.220 zł – różnicę fundacja pokryje z własnych środków.
W ramach projektu przewidziano organizację siedmiu otwartych spotkań historycznych na terenie Fortu oraz sześciu lekcji historii dla uczniów szkół podstawowych i ponadpodstawowych. W celu zapewnienia odpowiednich warunków, fundacja przeprowadzi również prace porządkowe i przygotowanie terenu. Projekt realizowany będzie od 11-VII do 31-XII-2025 r.
Dodatkowo, jak poinformowano na oficjalnym profilu fundacji, na jej konto wpłynęła kwota 23.950,50 zł z tytułu 1,5% podatku za 2024 r. – Jesteśmy ogromnie wdzięczni wszystkim darczyńcom. Dzięki Wam przyszłość Fortu III jest bezpieczna – przekazali przedstawiciele fundacji.

Execution Remembered. Pomiechówek Will Not Forget
On July 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., commemorative ceremonies will be held at Fort III in Pomiechówek to mark the 81st anniversary of the liquidation of the Gestapo prison and the largest mass execution at this location.
In the shadow of white crosses at the cemetery of victims of the German transit camp and penal-investigative prison in Pomiechówek, local residents, representatives of local authorities, the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation, and members of the Polish Armed Forces will gather to honor the murdered. As every year, the ceremony will include a Holy Mass, commemorative speeches, and a Roll Call of Remembrance. The event will conclude with the laying of wreaths and a historical vehicle presentation by Jeep Willys Club Poland.

The event is part of a broader educational and historical project titled “Fort III Pomiechówek – History and Tradition,” for which the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation received a 27,500 PLN grant from the Ministry of National Defense. The total cost of the project is 34,220 PLN, with the difference funded from the foundation’s own resources.
As part of the initiative, seven open historical meetings and six history lessons for primary and high school students will be held at the Fort. The foundation will also carry out land preparation and mowing necessary to host these events. The project will run from July 11 to December 31, 2025.
