26 VII na terenie Fortu III w Pomiechówku odbędą się uroczystości upamiętniające 82. rocznicę likwidacji aresztu śledczego Gestapo oraz największej masowej egzekucji dokonanej w tym miejscu podczas niemieckiej okupacji. Organizatorzy zapraszają mieszkańców, przedstawicieli instytucji oraz wszystkich, którym bliska jest pamięć o ofiarach II wojny światowej.
Fort III w Pomiechówku jest jednym z najważniejszych miejsc pamięci na Mazowszu. W czasie okupacji niemieckiej funkcjonował tu areszt śledczy Gestapo, a teren fortu stał się miejscem kaźni tysięcy Polaków i przedstawicieli innych narodowości.
Tegoroczne obchody odbędą się w niedzielę, 26 lipca. Uroczystości rozpoczną się o godz. 2 po poł. na terenie Fortu III w Pomiechówku.
Program wydarzenia obejmuje Mszę św. polową, przemówienia okolicznościowe, apel pamięci, ceremonię złożenia wieńców na cmentarzu znajdującym się na terenie Fortu III oraz zwiedzanie zabytkowego obiektu z przewodnikiem, który przybliży uczestnikom historię tego miejsca i tragiczne wydarzenia z okresu II wojny światowej.
Organizatorami uroczystości są Powiat Nowodworski oraz Fundacja Fort III Pomiechówek, przy współudziale partnerów i środowisk pielęgnujących pamięć historyczną.
Zaproszenie do udziału w obchodach podpisali starosta nowodworski Magdalena Biernacka, wicestarosta Andrzej Pacocha oraz prezes Fundacji Fort III Pomiechówek Piotr Jeżółkowski.
Obchody rocznicowe stanowią nie tylko okazję do oddania hołdu pomordowanym, ale również przypomnienie tragicznej historii Fortu III – miejsca, które pozostaje jednym z najważniejszych symboli niemieckiego terroru na Mazowszu.

Commemoration of the 82nd Anniversary of the Closure of the Gestapo Prison at Fort III
On 26 July, Fort III in Pomiechówek will host ceremonies commemorating the 82nd anniversary of the closure of the Gestapo investigative prison and the largest mass execution carried out at the site during the German occupation of Poland. Residents, representatives of public institutions and everyone wishing to honour the victims of the Second World War are invited to attend.
Fort III in Pomiechówek is one of the most significant places of remembrance in the Masovian region. During the German occupation it served as a Gestapo prison and became the site of mass executions in which thousands of Poles and people of other nationalities lost their lives.
This year’s commemorative ceremonies will take place on Sunday, 26 July, beginning at 2.00 p.m. at Fort III in Pomiechówek.
The programme includes an open-air Holy Mass, commemorative speeches, a roll call of remembrance, a wreath-laying ceremony at the cemetery located within the fort and a guided tour presenting the history of the site and the tragic events that occurred there during the Second World War.
The event is organised by Nowy Dwór County and the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation, together with partner organisations dedicated to preserving historical memory.
The invitation has been signed by Nowy Dwór County Governor Magdalena Biernacka, Deputy Governor Andrzej Pacocha and Piotr Jeżółkowski, President of the Fort III Pomiechówek Foundation.
The anniversary ceremony offers an opportunity not only to pay tribute to the victims but also to preserve the memory of one of the most tragic places associated with German terror in the region.
