W Leoncinie z pompą bchodzono 25-lecie istnienia UKS Goliat – klubu sportowego, który od ćwierćwiecza zrzesza sportowców z Gminy Leoncin. To wyjątkowe wydarzenie stało się okazją do świętowania dotychczasowych sukcesów, przypomnienia historii Klubu oraz uhonorowania osób, które przez lata wspierały jego rozwój.
Obchody jubileuszu odbyły się podczas Turnieju w Halową Piłkę Nożną Mężczyzn o Puchar Prezesa Zarządu UKS Goliat, Antoniego Łaszczyka. W przerwie meczów wręczono medale pamiątkowe dla Sponsorów, Członków Zarządu oraz wyróżniających się sportowców. Podczas uroczystości ogłoszono również zmiany w Zarządzie Klubu – dotychczasowy Prezes, Antoni Łaszczyk, ustąpił ze stanowiska, obejmując tytuł Prezesa Honorowego. Funkcję Prezesa Zarządu przejęła Martyna Pawłowska, a do Zarządu dołączył także Krzysztof Lesiński.
Symboliczne zdmuchnięcie świeczek na torcie oraz wspólny poczęstunek zwieńczyły oficjalną część wydarzenia. Następnie uczestnicy skupili się na sportowej rywalizacji. W turnieju wzięło udział 8 drużyn, a mecze dostarczyły kibicom wielu emocji.

25 Years of UKS Goliat – A History of Success and Sports Emotion
On December 13th, UKS Goliat celebrated its 25th anniversary – a milestone marking a quarter-century of uniting athletes from Leoncin Municipality. This remarkable occasion was an opportunity to honor the club’s achievements, revisit its history, and recognize individuals who have supported its growth over the years.
The celebrations took place during the Men’s Indoor Football Tournament for the UKS Goliat President’s Cup, named after Antoni Łaszczyk. During a break between matches, commemorative medals were awarded to sponsors, board members, and distinguished athletes. It was also the moment to announce changes in the Club’s Board – long-time President Antoni Łaszczyk stepped down, taking on the title of Honorary President. Martyna Pawłowska assumed the role of President, and Krzysztof Lesiński joined the Board.
The official part concluded with the symbolic blowing out of candles on the anniversary cake and a shared meal. This was followed by thrilling sports competition. Eight teams participated in the tournament, providing fans with intense matches.
