Instytut Włókien Naturalnych i Roślin Zielarskich – PIB ogłosił rozpoczęcie II edycji Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu „Zioła dla Zdrowia”. Konkurs skierowany jest do Kół Gospodyń Wiejskich oraz stowarzyszeń działających na terenach wiejskich, które pragną promować ziołolecznictwo, tradycyjne ogrody oraz wiedzę o naturalnych właściwościach roślin leczniczych.
Celem przedsięwzięcia jest nie tylko popularyzacja upraw roślin zielarskich i ich zastosowań w profilaktyce zdrowotnej, lecz także integracja społeczności lokalnych, zachęta do pielęgnowania dziedzictwa kulturowego wsi oraz wymiana doświadczeń międzypokoleniowych w zakresie naturalnego leczenia i wiejskiego zielarstwa.
Konkurs składa się z dwóch etapów:
– etap wojewódzki: komisje konkursowe wyłonią po trzy najlepsze ogrody ziołowe w każdym województwie,
– etap ogólnopolski: szesnastu Laureatów I miejsca – po jednym z każdego województwa – weźmie udział w finale w Warszawie, prezentując własne wyroby wykonane z wykorzystaniem roślin zielarskich.
Harmonogram wydarzenia przedstawia się następująco:
– do 31-V-25r. – termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń (na adres: konkurs@iwnirz.pl),
– do 15-VIII-25r. – czas na przesłanie prezentacji konkursowych,
– 5-IX-25r. – ogłoszenie wyników etapu wojewódzkiego oraz daty finału,
– do 30-IX-25r. – uroczyste spotkanie finałowe w Warszawie.
Organizator przewiduje nagrody oraz wyróżnienia dla autorów najciekawszych prezentacji i wyrobów. Kryteria oceny obejmują m.in. różnorodność i jakość uprawianych ziół, estetykę ogrodu, wiedzę o właściwościach prozdrowotnych oraz tradycyjne metody wykorzystania roślin. Dodatkowo punktowane będzie zaangażowanie lokalnej społeczności, w tym dzieci i młodzieży.

Herbs for health and tradition. Second edition of the nationwide competition for Rural Housewives’ Circles launched
The Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants – National Research Institute has announced the launch of the second edition of the nationwide competition “Herbs for Health”. The contest is addressed to Rural Housewives’ Circles and associations active in rural areas that wish to promote herbalism, traditional gardens, and knowledge of the medicinal properties of plants.
The aim of this initiative is not only to popularize the cultivation of medicinal herbs and their use in health prevention, but also to integrate local communities, encourage the preservation of rural cultural heritage, and facilitate intergenerational exchange in the field of natural healing and folk herbalism.
The competition consists of two stages:
– regional stage: competition committees will select the top three herbal gardens in each voivodeship,
– national stage: sixteen First Prize Laureates – one from each voivodeship – will participate in the final in Warsaw, presenting their own products made with medicinal plants.
The event schedule is as follows:
– by May 31, 2025 – deadline for applications (email: konkurs@iwnirz.pl),
– by August 15, 2025 – deadline for submission of competition presentations,
– September 5, 2025 – announcement of regional results and date of the final,
– by September 30, 2025 – final meeting in Warsaw.
The organizer has provided for prizes and distinctions for the creators of the most interesting presentations and herbal products. Evaluation criteria will include the diversity and quality of cultivated herbs, garden aesthetics, knowledge of medicinal properties, and traditional methods of using plants. Additional points will be awarded for the involvement of the local community, including children and youth.
