W poniedziałek 14-VII-2025 r. w sali kameralnej Gminnego Ośrodka Kultury w Pomiechówku odbyła się światowa premiera monumentalnej pracy Zuli Winiewki z cyklu maski/kamuflaż.
Choć artystka na co dzień mieszka na Wyspach Kanaryjskich, jej więź z gminą Pomiechówek wciąż pozostaje żywa – czego dowodem była jej obecność na wydarzeniu i bezpośrednie spotkanie z publicznością.
Prezentowane dzieło, mimo że nadal znajduje się w fazie powstawania, już teraz imponuje rozmachem: blisko 10 metrów długości i 2,5 metra wysokości. Widzowie dostrzegli intensywną symbolikę, wielowarstwowe znaczenia oraz silne napięcia między kolorem, fakturą i światłem.
Po prezentacji odbyło się kameralne spotkanie przy kawie, podczas którego Zula Winiewka opowiedziała o procesie twórczym i duchowym tle cyklu maski/kamuflaż.
Gminny Ośrodek Kultury zapowiada kontynuację wystawy i zaprasza do odwiedzin.
Masked and Unmasked – Zula Winiewka Returns to Pomiechówek
On Monday, July 14, 2025, the chamber hall of the Pomiechówek Cultural Center hosted the world premiere of Zula Winiewka’s monumental artwork from her masks/camouflage series.
Although the artist currently resides in the Canary Islands, her deep connection with the Pomiechówek region remains vivid – proven by her in-person attendance and direct dialogue with guests.
The presented work, still in progress, already astonishes with its scale – nearly 10 meters in length and 2.5 meters in height. Audiences were drawn to its expressive symbolism and complex layering of meaning, color, and texture.
Following the presentation, a cozy gathering over coffee offered a chance to hear Zula speak about her inspirations and the creative journey behind the series.
The Pomiechówek Cultural Center has announced further exhibitions and invites all visitors.
