These were the topics discussed by an officer from the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki Police Department during a meeting with children from the Sakolandia Non-Public Preschool in the Nasielsk commune. The event was a great opportunity to remind the youngest about basic safety rules through play.
The police officer, specializing in social prevention, introduced the children to the fundamental rules of road safety. She explained traffic signs that every pedestrian should recognize and emphasized the importance of following them. She also highlighted the key role of reflective elements, which make pedestrians more visible. Additionally, she discussed proper travel safety, reminding children that they must be transported in car seats with fastened seat belts.
Another crucial topic covered by Junior Aspirant Patrycja Mariańska was the knowledge of the emergency number 112. The preschoolers learned how to call for help, what information to provide to the dispatcher, and how to behave in emergency situations.
During the session, the children also learned about the daily work of police officers, discovering the equipment used by officers on duty. With great enthusiasm, they listened to the valuable advice, demonstrating their knowledge of safe behavior both on the road and during leisure time. They eagerly explored police gear and tried on parts of the uniform. The entire meeting took place in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere.
