10-VII-24r., około godz. 9.50 po poł., służby ratunkowe zostały wezwane nad Narew w Nowym Dworze. Zgłoszenie dotyczyło dryfującego ciała w rzece. Na miejsce przybyli strażacy-wodniacy wyposażeni w łódź i drona, straż pożarna z Nowego Dworu oraz ratownicy WOPR.
Ciało zostało zlokalizowane w rzece na wysokości siedziby OSP R-W w Modlinie Twierdzy. Mimo podjętej reanimacji i użycia defibrylatora AED, młodej kobiety nie udało się uratować. Obecny na miejscu lekarz z karetki pogotowia stwierdził jej zgon. Tożsamość kobiety nie jest jeszcze znana, ale istnieje przypuszczenie, że może to być obcokrajowiec.
Prokuratura prowadzi dochodzenie w sprawie okoliczności tego zdarzenia. Wstępne ustalenia wskazują, że kobieta była widziana na plaży, schodząc z wału bezpośrednio do rzeki, prawdopodobnie w celu kąpieli. Istnieje podejrzenie, że mogła zostać porwana przez silny nurt rzeki.
Tragic Accident on the Narew River
On July 10th, around 9:50 PM, rescue services were called to the Narew River in Nowy Dwór. The report concerned a body drifting in the river. Firefighters equipped with a boat and drone, the state fire brigade from Nowy Dwór, and WOPR lifeguards arrived at the scene.
The body was located in the river near the OSP R-W station in Modlin Fortress. Despite resuscitation efforts and the use of an AED defibrillator, the young woman could not be saved. The doctor from the ambulance declared her dead on the spot. Her identity is currently unknown, but there is a suspicion that she may be a foreign national.
The prosecutor’s office is investigating the circumstances of the incident. Preliminary findings suggest that the woman was seen at the beach, descending from the embankment directly into the river, presumably to swim. It is suspected that she might have been swept away by the strong river current.
