Na terenie Zakładu Energetyki Cieplnej przy ul. Przemysłowej w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim rozpoczęto prace związane z wykonaniem otworu poszukiwawczo-rozpoznawczego Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki GT-1. Celem przedsięwzięcia jest sprawdzenie, czy pod miastem znajdują się zasoby wód termalnych.
Wody termalne miałyby zostać wykorzystane przede wszystkim do celów ciepłowniczych. W zależności od uzyskanych parametrów analizowane będą także możliwości ich zastosowania w rekreacji i balneoterapii.
Całkowita wartość projektu wynosi 12 923 873 zł. Przedsięwzięcie zostało w całości dofinansowane ze środków Narodowego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w ramach programu priorytetowego „Udostępnianie wód termalnych w Polsce”.
Wyniki odwiertu pozwolą określić realne możliwości wykorzystania wód termalnych na potrzeby mieszkańców oraz dalszego rozwoju miasta.
Geothermal drilling has begun. Searching for heat under the city
Works related to the drilling of the exploratory borehole Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki GT-1 have started on the premises of the Heating Plant at Przemysłowa Street in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. The aim of the project is to determine whether thermal water resources exist under the city.
The thermal waters would be used primarily for heating purposes. Depending on the parameters obtained, the possibility of their use in recreation and balneotherapy will also be analysed.
The total value of the project amounts to 12,923,873 PLN. The undertaking has been fully financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management under the priority programme “Making Thermal Waters Available in Poland”.
The results of the borehole will make it possible to determine the real possibilities of using thermal waters for the needs of residents and the further development of the city.
