Odznaka została nadana na wniosek wiceminister kultury i dziedzictwa narodowego Bożeny Żelazowskiej, Poseł na Sejm Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej oraz Generalnej Konserwator Zabytków.
Srebrna odznaka „Za opiekę nad zabytkami” jest państwowym wyróżnieniem przyznawanym osobom szczególnie zasłużonym w zakresie ochrony i zachowania dziedzictwa kulturowego. The Nowodwór Cultural Center announced that its Director, Agnieszka Kubiak-Falęcka, has been awarded the Silver Badge “For the Protection of Monuments.” The distinction was granted by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The badge was awarded at the request of Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bożena Żelazowska, Member of the Sejm of the Polish Commonwealth and General Conservator of Monuments.
