W piątek, 5 lipca br., odbyło się wyjazdowe spotkanie Dyskusyjnego Klubu Książki przy Bibliotece dla dorosłych w Nasielsku. Tym razem, na zaproszenie państwa Hanny i Krzysztofa Kowalskich, uczestnicy spotkali się w ich gościnnym gospodarstwie w miejscowości Winniki. Wśród zieleni, kojącej ciszy i suto zastawionym stole, mogli porozmawiać o książce finalisty nagrody literackiej Nike 2020, Filipa Zawady, pt. „Zbyt wiele zim minęło, żeby była wiosna”.
Autor stworzył książkę na temat wewnętrznych przeżyć zagubionych w życiu ludzi, których dzieciństwo zostało skażone przez najbliższe otoczenie. Skutkiem tych relacji była niedorosłość i niedojrzałość w dalszym życiu. Jak jednogłośnie stwierdziły klubowiczki, w książce można odnaleźć w jakimś stopniu samych siebie.
Dyskusyjny Klub Książki serdecznie zaprasza wszystkich, którzy chcieliby dołączyć do grona klubowiczów, na kolejne spotkanie we wrześniu. Klub przypomina, że jego celem jest stworzenie miejsca, w którym można swobodnie rozmawiać o przeczytanych książkach. Nie trzeba być specjalistą, aby wyrazić swoją opinię na temat danej lektury.
Do DKK dla dorosłych należą osoby w różnym wieku, wykonujące różne zawody i mające różne zainteresowania, a łączy je miłość do literatury, ciekawość świata oraz przyjemność ze spotkań i dyskusji na temat książek. Kluby DKK mają swobodę w wyborze lektur, które chcą czytać i omawiać. Uzupełnieniem programu są spotkania autorskie, dające możliwość osobistego spotkania klubowiczów z twórcami omawianych książek, a także wykłady dotyczące literatury najnowszej, konkursy na najlepszą recenzję i wiele innych inicjatyw, jak wspólne wyjazdy do teatru, co sprzyja integracji członków DKK. Organizatorami tych działań są instytucje prowadzące kluby, biblioteki wojewódzkie oraz Instytut Książki.
Strategiczne cele programu to promocja kultury literackiej i czytelnictwa, ożywienie i integracja środowisk skupionych wokół bibliotek publicznych oraz zachęcenie nowych użytkowników do korzystania z oferty bibliotek publicznych.
Meeting of the Book Discussion Club in Nasielsk
On Friday, July 5th, a field meeting of the Book Discussion Club at the Adult Library in Nasielsk took place. This time, at the invitation of Mr. and Mrs. Hanna and Krzysztof Kowalski, the participants met at their hospitable farm in Winniki. Surrounded by greenery, soothing silence, and a well-set table, they could discuss the book by the Nike 2020 literary award finalist, Filip Zawada, titled „Too Many Winters Passed, So It Could Be Spring.”
The author created a book about the inner experiences of people lost in life, whose childhood was tainted by their immediate environment. The result of these relationships was immaturity and underdevelopment in later life. As the club members unanimously stated, they could find a part of themselves in the book.
The Book Discussion Club cordially invites everyone who would like to join the club members to the next meeting in September. The club reminds that its goal is to create a place where one can freely discuss the books they have read. There is no need to be a specialist to express your opinion on a given reading.
The Adult DKK includes people of different ages, professions, and interests, united by their love of literature, curiosity about the world, and enjoyment of meetings and discussions about books. DKK clubs have the freedom to choose the books they want to read and discuss. Complementing the program are author meetings, giving club members the opportunity to personally meet the authors of the books discussed, as well as lectures on contemporary literature, best review contests, and many other initiatives, such as joint trips to the theater, which help integrate DKK members. These activities are organized by the institutions running the clubs, provincial libraries, and the Book Institute.
The strategic goals of the program are to promote literary culture and reading, to revitalize and integrate communities centered around public libraries, and to encourage new users to use public library services.
