W sobotę 24-V-25r., w godz. 11.00–15.00, na terenie Areny Legionowo odbędzie się Piknik Rodzinny „Bezpieczny Powiat”. Wydarzenie organizowane przez Starostwo Powiatowe w Legionowie ma charakter edukacyjno-profilaktyczny i jest otwarte dla wszystkich mieszkańców powiatu.
Wśród partnerów wydarzenia znajduje się Straż Miejska z Legionowa, która zaplanowała dwa praktyczne punkty informacyjno-usługowe. Pierwszy z nich to bezpłatny serwis rowerowy, w którym będzie można sprawdzić stan techniczny jednośladu. Mieszkańcy będą mogli skontrolować hamulce, opony, łańcuch oraz uzupełnić podstawowe wyposażenie roweru – w tym oświetlenie i sygnały dźwiękowe.
Drugie stoisko oferować będzie akcesoria odblaskowe – każdy uczestnik pikniku będzie mógł otrzymać elementy poprawiające widoczność po zmroku. Rozdawane będą m.in. opaski, zawieszki oraz odblaski w formie gadżetów codziennego użytku.
Celem pikniku jest nie tylko przekazanie zasad bezpiecznego zachowania na co dzień, ale też integracja lokalnej społeczności w duchu wspólnej odpowiedzialności i wzajemnej troski. Organizatorzy przewidzieli także atrakcje dla najmłodszych oraz punkty konsultacyjne służb mundurowych.

Bicycles, reflectors, and prevention. City Guard at the “Safe County” picnic
On Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the “Safe County” Family Picnic will take place at the Arena Legionowo. The event, organized by the District Office in Legionowo, is educational and preventive in nature and open to all county residents.
One of the event’s partners is the City Guard from Legionowo, which has prepared two practical information and service stands. The first is a free bicycle service where residents can check the technical condition of their bikes – including brakes, tires, and chains – and complete any missing safety components, such as lights or bells.
The second stand will offer reflective gadgets. Every visitor will receive reflectors to improve their visibility and safety after dark. These include wristbands, hangers, and daily-use items with reflective elements.
The picnic aims not only to promote everyday safety principles but also to bring together the local community in a spirit of shared responsibility and mutual care. Organizers have also planned attractions for children and consultation stands with public services.
The event is part of a broader cycle of preventive initiatives implemented by the Legionowo County in cooperation with local government units, public services, and social organizations.
