Mazowiecki Wojewódzki Konserwator Zabytków poinformował o odnalezieniu reliktów łodzi w pobliżu Wyspy Kiełpińskiej na Wiśle. Grupa rowerzystów i pasjonatów historii, znana jako Grupa Eksploracyjno-Poszukiwawcza Triglav (GEPST), natrafiła na szkielet łodzi na wysokości Łomianek Dolnych.
Niestety, w wyniku wzrostu poziomu wody, znalezisko zostało zalane. Jednakże, dzięki szybkiej reakcji odkrywców, udało się sporządzić dokumentację fotograficzną oraz zarejestrować dokładne współrzędne GPS, co pozwoli na dalsze badania tego cennego zabytku.
Boat Remnants Found in the Vistula River
The Mazovian Provincial Monument Conservator has informed about the discovery of the remnants of a boat near Kiełpińska Island on the Vistula River. A group of cyclists and history enthusiasts from the Exploration and Search Group Triglav (GEPST) found the boat’s skeleton near Łomianki Dolne. Unfortunately, the rising water level has submerged the find. However, thanks to the swift reaction of the discoverers, photographic documentation and the GPS coordinates of the relic were secured, allowing further research on this valuable artifact.
