Parafianie z Leoncina w niedzielę 11-X-2026r. złożyli na Fundację „Dzieło Nowego Tysiąclecia” 3 209,20 zł. Zebrane ofiary parafia św. Małgorzaty Dziewicy i Męczennicy w Leoncinie przekazała przelewem na konto fundacji. „Za złożone ofiary składamy serdeczne Bóg zapłać” – dziękuje parafia.
Pieniądze trafiały do skarbonek z wizerunkiem św. Jana Pawła II i napisem „Dzielmy się miłością. Dzień Papieski”. Tego dnia w całej Polsce obchodzono XXVI Dzień Papieski pod hasłem „Św. Jan Paweł II. Uczeń-Misjonarz”. Jak podaje fundacja, to dzień ogólnopolskiej zbiórki na stypendia dla zdolnej i niezamożnej młodzieży pochodzącej z małych miejscowości.
More than PLN 3,200 for the Work of the New Millennium
On Sunday, October 11, 2026, parishioners in Leoncin gave PLN 3,209.20 to the Work of the New Millennium Foundation (Fundacja "Dzieło Nowego Tysiąclecia"). The Parish of St. Margaret, Virgin and Martyr, in Leoncin sent the money collected to the foundation by bank transfer. "For the offerings given, we say a heartfelt God bless you," the parish says in thanks.
The money went into collection boxes bearing the image of St. John Paul II and the words "Let's share love. Papal Day." That day, the 26th Papal Day was celebrated across Poland under the motto "St. John Paul II. Disciple-Missionary." According to the foundation, it is the day of a nationwide collection for scholarships for talented young people of limited means from small towns and villages.
