Pamięć bohaterom i pomoc potrzebującym

18-VIII-24r. przy kościele pw. św. Doroty w Cieksynie odbyła się uroczystość upamiętniająca bohaterów z 22. i 201. pułku piechoty, którzy polegli w sierpniu 1920 roku na terenie Cieksyna. Wydarzenie rozpoczęło się Mszą Świętą oraz procesją, po której zebrani oddali hołd poległym i złożyli kwiaty przy tablicy pamiątkowej.

Uroczystość poprowadził p. Janusz Gers, który tradycyjnie powitał wszystkich zebranych. W wydarzeniu uczestniczyły władze samorządowe gminy Nasielsk, reprezentowane przez Burmistrza Nasielska p. Radosława Kasiaka oraz Przewodniczącego Rady Miejskiej p. Marka Gerasika. Obecni byli również członkowie Nasielskiego Rajdu Motocyklowego i grupy MoTo Nsk, a także mieszkańcy Cieksyna i goście.

Po oficjalnej części uroczystości, przy remizie strażackiej w Cieksynie odbył się piknik charytatywny, zorganizowany przez strażaczki i strażaków z jednostek OSP KSRG Cieksyn i OSP Nasielsk, p. sołtys Monikę Sitkiewicz, mieszkańców oraz sponsorów. Celem wydarzenia była zbiórka pieniędzy na leczenie druha Piotra Strzelczaka. Organizatorzy zasługują na ogromne uznanie za wspaniałą organizację i zaangażowanie w pomoc potrzebującym.

Ceremony in Cieksyn – Honoring Heroes and Helping Those in Need

On 18-VIII-24, at the Church of St. Dorothy in Cieksyn, a ceremony was held to commemorate the heroes of the 22nd and 201st Infantry Regiments who fell in August 1920 in the Cieksyn area. The event began with a Holy Mass and a procession, after which the gathered paid tribute to the fallen and laid flowers at the memorial plaque.

The ceremony was led by Mr. Janusz Gers, who traditionally welcomed everyone present. The event was attended by the local government authorities of the Nasielsk commune, represented by the Mayor of Nasielsk, Mr. Radosław Kasiak, and the Chairman of the City Council, Mr. Marek Gerasik. Members of the Nasielsk Motorcycle Rally and the MoTo Nsk group, as well as residents of Cieksyn and guests, were also in attendance.

After the official part of the ceremony, a charity picnic was held at the fire station in Cieksyn, organized by the firefighters from the OSP KSRG Cieksyn and OSP Nasielsk units, village head Ms. Monika Sitkiewicz, residents, and sponsors. The event aimed to raise funds for the treatment of firefighter Piotr Strzelczak. The organizers deserve great recognition for their outstanding effort and dedication to helping those in need.
