Gmina Nasielsk powiększyła grono swoich honorowych obywateli. We wtorek, 16 IX 2025 r., w Nasielskim Domu Edukacji i Historii odbyła się uroczystość wręczenia tytułu Glennowi Kurtzowi.
– Honorowe Obywatelstwo Gminy Nasielsk zostało nadane Glennowi Kurtzowi podczas majowej sesji przez Radę Miejską – przypominają władze samorządowe. – Tym sposobem uznane zostały zasługi Glenna Kurtza dla naszej gminy, w szczególności za promowanie pozytywnego wizerunku Nasielska na świecie.
Uroczystość rozpoczęła się od hejnału Gminy Nasielsk, który na żywo odegrał Marcin Chrustowski. Po powitaniu gości dr Stanisław Tyc przybliżył sylwetkę nowego honorowego obywatela. Słowa do wyróżnionego skierował burmistrz Nasielska Radosław Kasiak, a przewodniczący Rady Miejskiej Marek Gerasik odczytał uchwałę o nadaniu honorowego obywatelstwa.
Szczególnym momentem było wrzeczenie aktu nadania, pamiątkowego klucza do miasta oraz kwiatów. Glenn Kurtz podziękował za zaszczytne wyróżnienie i podkreślił swoje przywiązanie do Nasielska. Podczas ceremonii odczytano również list gratulacyjny od marszałka województwa mazowieckiego.

New honorary citizen of Nasielsk. Glenn Kurtz receives distinction
The Nasielsk municipality has expanded its circle of honorary citizens. On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, a ceremony was held at the Nasielsk House of Education and History to present the title to Mr. Glenn Kurtz.
„Honorary Citizenship of the Nasielsk Municipality was granted to Mr. Glenn Kurtz during the May session by the City Council,” remind local government authorities. „This way, Mr. Glenn Kurtz’s merits for our municipality have been recognized, particularly for promoting Nasielsk’s positive image worldwide.”
The ceremony began with the Nasielsk Municipality anthem, played live by Marcin Chrustowski. After welcoming the guests, Dr. Stanisław Tyc presented the profile of the new honorary citizen. Words to the honoree were addressed by Nasielsk Mayor Radosław Kasiak, and City Council Chairman Marek Gerasik read the resolution granting honorary citizenship.
A special moment was the presentation of the grant act, a commemorative key to the city, and flowers. Glenn Kurtz thanked them for the honorable distinction and emphasized his attachment to Nasielsk. During the ceremony, a congratulatory letter from the Marshal of the Masovian Voivodeship was also read.
