25 czerwca 2026 roku podpisano umowę na realizację zadania pn. „Utworzenie miejsca pamięci Stefana Jaworskiego”. Inwestycja ma na celu trwałe upamiętnienie postaci związanej z historią Nasielska oraz zachowanie lokalnego dziedzictwa dla przyszłych pokoleń.
Umowę podpisali Burmistrz Nasielska Radosław Kasiak oraz Skarbnik Nasielska Rafał Adamski. Samorząd Województwa Mazowieckiego reprezentowała Anna Brzezińska, członek Zarządu Województwa Mazowieckiego.
W ramach przedsięwzięcia wykonane zostanie popiersie Stefana Jaworskiego z brązu, które zostanie umieszczone na specjalnie przygotowanym cokole. Powstające miejsce pamięci będzie przypominało mieszkańcom o osobie Stefana Jaworskiego i jego znaczeniu dla lokalnej historii.
Na realizację inwestycji Gmina Nasielsk pozyskała dofinansowanie z Samorządu Województwa Mazowieckiego w wysokości 77 072 zł.
Realizacja zadania wpisuje się w działania samorządu związane z ochroną lokalnego dziedzictwa oraz pielęgnowaniem pamięci o osobach, które zapisały się w historii miasta i gminy.

Nasielsk to commemorate Stefan Jaworski. Agreement signed for the creation of a memorial site
On 25 June 2026, an agreement was signed for the implementation of the project entitled „Creation of the Stefan Jaworski Memorial Site.” The investment aims to permanently commemorate a figure associated with the history of Nasielsk and preserve the local heritage for future generations.
The agreement was signed by the Mayor of Nasielsk, Radosław Kasiak, and the Treasurer of Nasielsk, Rafał Adamski. The Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government was represented by Anna Brzezińska, a Member of the Board of the Mazovian Voivodeship.
As part of the project, a bronze bust of Stefan Jaworski will be created and placed on a specially prepared pedestal. The memorial site will remind residents of Stefan Jaworski’s contribution and his significance to the local history of Nasielsk.
The Municipality of Nasielsk obtained funding of PLN 77,072 from the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government to carry out the investment.
The project forms part of the municipality’s broader efforts to preserve local heritage and cultivate the memory of individuals who have made a lasting contribution to the history of the town and municipality.
