Muzeum – Miejsce Pamięci Palmiry zostało wyróżnione w kategorii „Instytucja” prestiżowymi nagrodami BohaterON im. Powstańców Warszawskich. W uroczystej gali, która odbyła się 12 listopada, placówka została nagrodzona zarówno Srebrnym BohaterONem, jak i Złotym BohaterONem Publiczności. Wyróżnienie odebrały Dominika Jarzyńska-Pokojśka, kierowniczka muzeum, oraz Maria Kamińska, adiunktka.
Nagrody te są wyrazem uznania dla pracy Muzeum w Palmirach, które kultywuje pamięć o tragicznych wydarzeniach z czasów II wojny światowej i upamiętnia ofiary niemieckich zbrodni w Puszczy Kampinoskiej. Gala uświetniona została występem Kasi Kowalskiej w reżyserii Haliny Przebindy, co dodało wydarzeniu wyjątkowego charakteru.
Muzeum wyraziło wdzięczność Kapitule Nagrody oraz wszystkim osobom, które oddały głos na tę instytucję, podkreślając, że takie wyróżnienia motywują do dalszej pracy na rzecz pamięci narodowej.

Palmiry Memorial Museum Awarded Prestigious BohaterON Prize
The Palmiry Memorial Museum has been recognized in the „Institution” category with the prestigious BohaterON awards in honor of the Warsaw Uprising participants. During the ceremony on November 12, the institution was honored with both the Silver BohaterON and the Gold BohaterON of the Audience. The awards were received by Dominika Jarzyńska-Pokojśka, the museum’s director, and Maria Kamińska, adjunct curator.
These awards acknowledge the museum’s dedication to preserving the memory of the tragic events during World War II and commemorating the victims of German atrocities in the Kampinos Forest. The ceremony was enhanced by a performance from Kasia Kowalska under the direction of Halina Przebinda, adding a special touch to the event.
The museum expressed gratitude to the award’s jury and all those who supported it, emphasizing that such recognition serves as motivation for further work in preserving national memory.
