Problemu nie da się już zamiatać pod dywan. Przepustowość mostu na Narwi w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim od lat jest wyczerpana, a kolejne inwestycje drogowe nie przynoszą ulgi mieszkańcom. W Ministerstwie Infrastruktury odbyło się kolejne spotkanie, które ma wyznaczyć realne kierunki wyjścia z impasu.
Sebastian Sosiński poinformował o kolejnym spotkaniu w Ministerstwo Infrastruktury, poświęconym jednemu z najpoważniejszych problemów komunikacyjnych miasta, czyli budowie nowej nitki mostu na Narwi. Jak podkreślono, sama realizacja inwestycji wciąż pozostaje hipotetyczna i uzależniona od wielu czynników, jednak po raz pierwszy w sposób uporządkowany określono możliwe drogi działania.
Od co najmniej pięciu lat wiadomo, że przepustowość odcinka drogi krajowej nr 85 przebiegającego przez Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki została wyczerpana. Most na Narwi formalnie pozostaje elementem drogi krajowej, lecz w praktyce pełni coraz bardziej lokalną funkcję. Mimo to wciąż jest traktowany przez Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad jako trasa tranzytowa. Jednocześnie zakończona rozbudowa trasy S7 nie rozwiązuje problemów komunikacyjnych miasta, a koszt budowy nowej przeprawy może sięgnąć poziomu całego rocznego budżetu samorządu, co wyklucza samodzielną realizację zadania przez gminę.
Podczas spotkania ustalono, że powstanie wstępna koncepcja oraz analiza techniczna możliwych rozwiązań, zarówno doraźnych, jak i docelowych, uwzględniająca również budowę nowej nitki mostu nad Narwią. Równolegle mają zostać oszacowane koszty poszczególnych wariantów. Określono także potencjalne źródła finansowania inwestycji. W tym zakresie zaplanowano kolejne rozmowy w Ministerstwo Funduszy i Polityki Regionalnej.
Burmistrz Nowego Dworu Mazowieckiego podziękował za zaangażowanie w rozmowy ministrowi Stanisławowi Bukowcowi oraz ministrowi Pawłowi Zalewskiemu, inicjatorowi spotkania, który – jak zaznaczono – osobiście zaangażował się w próbę rozwiązania problemu dotykającego lokalną społeczność.
A bridge that paralyzes the city
The problem can no longer be ignored. The capacity of the bridge over the Narew River in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki has been exhausted for years, and subsequent road investments have failed to ease residents’ daily difficulties. Another meeting at the Ministry of Infrastructure has taken place, aimed at defining realistic paths out of the current impasse.
Sebastian Sosiński, Mayor of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, announced another meeting at the Ministry of Infrastructure dedicated to one of the city’s most serious transportation challenges: the construction of a new bridge span over the Narew River. While the implementation of such an investment remains hypothetical and dependent on multiple factors, the identification of concrete options is described as a step toward genuine action.
For at least five years it has been clear that the capacity of national road no. 85 in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki has been fully exhausted. The bridge over the Narew is formally part of a national road, yet in practice it has long taken on a more local character, despite still being classified by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways as a transit route. The completed expansion of the S7 route has not resolved the city’s problem, and the cost of building a new bridge could reach the level of the municipality’s entire annual budget, making independent implementation by the local government impossible.
During the meeting, it was agreed that a preliminary concept and technical analysis of possible solutions would be prepared, including both interim and long-term options and the construction of a new bridge span over the Narew River. The costs of individual variants are to be estimated as part of this work. Potential sources of financing for the investment were also identified, with further discussions scheduled at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy.
The Mayor of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki expressed his thanks to Minister Stanisław Bukowiec for enabling the meeting and to Minister Paweł Zalewski, who initiated the talks and personally engaged in addressing the concerns of the local community.
