Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki pozyskał kolejne środki na modernizację miejskiej pływalni. Tym razem miasto otrzymało 500 000 zł z Ministerstwa Sportu i Turystyki, przeznaczone w ramach programu rozwoju infrastruktury sportowej w województwach. Do już zdobytego wsparcia z budżetu Samorządu Województwa Mazowieckiego dołączono więc drugie pół miliona złotych, co pozwala rozpocząć przygotowania do niezbędnych prac.
Burmistrz Sebastian Sosiński poinformował, że pozyskane środki pozwolą na wymianę systemu uzdatniania wody, przeprowadzenie remontu podbasenia, a jeśli budżet na to pozwoli – również na remont szatni. Wskazał przy tym, że obiekt od momentu otwarcia, czyli od 2011 r., nie doczekał się poważniejszych prac modernizacyjnych. – Moim zdaniem, to ostatni moment, by zdecydowanie podjąć temat modernizacji tego obiektu – podkreślił burmistrz.
Miasto akcentuje, że inwestycja ma kluczowe znaczenie dla utrzymania funkcjonalności i bezpieczeństwa pływalni, z której korzystają mieszkańcy Nowego Dworu Mazowieckiego, w tym dzieci niepełnosprawne oraz grupy szkolne i sportowe. Zapowiadane prace mają poprawić stan techniczny zaplecza i usprawnić działanie instalacji wodnej, co w przyszłości umożliwi dalsze planowanie rozwoju obiektu.
City swimming pool modernization becomes a necessity
Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki has obtained additional funding for the modernization of its municipal swimming pool. This time, the city received 500,000 PLN from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism under the program supporting the development of sports infrastructure in the voivodeships. This amount adds to the previously secured 500,000 PLN from the budget of the Mazovian Provincial Government, enabling preparations for the necessary works.
Mayor Sebastian Sosiński announced that the funds will allow for replacing the water treatment system, renovating the pool’s understructure, and—if the budget permits—remodeling the changing rooms. He stressed that the facility has not undergone major modernization since its opening in 2011. “In my opinion, this is the last moment to decisively address the modernization of this facility,” the mayor said.
The city notes that the investment is essential to maintaining the functionality and safety of the swimming pool used by residents of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, including disabled children as well as school and sports groups. The planned work will improve the technical condition of the infrastructure and optimize the water system, making it possible to plan further development of the facility in the future.
