Maja Powierska z klasy Va i Viktoria Smuk z klasy VIIIb Szkoły Podstawowej nr 3 w Nowym Dworze Mazowieckim pobiegły 8-X-2026r. w półfinale wojewódzkim w Markach. Startowali tam najlepsi zawodnicy z pięciu powiatów.
Droga do Marek była długa. Uczennice musiały najpierw przejść przez zawody gminne, a potem powiatowe. Z całej szkoły awans do półfinału wywalczyły tylko one dwie.
W Markach stanęły na starcie wśród najlepszych i walczyły do samego końca. Tym razem nie zdobyły miejsca punktowanego, ale szkoła podkreśla, że już sam udział w półfinale wojewódzkim to duże osiągnięcie. Gratuluje dziewczętom sportowej postawy, wytrwałości i pięknej walki do ostatnich metrów. „Czasem największym sukcesem jest sama droga, którą trzeba było przejść, aby znaleźć się na starcie z najlepszymi” – napisała szkoła.

Maja Powierska from class 5a and Viktoria Smuk from class 8b of Elementary School No. 3 in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki ran in the provincial semifinal in Marki on October 8, 2026. The best athletes from five counties competed there.
The road to Marki was long. The girls first had to get through the township competition and then the county one. They were the only two from their school to advance to the semifinal.
In Marki, they lined up among the best and fought to the very end. This time they did not finish in a scoring position, but the school stresses that taking part in the provincial semifinal is a big achievement in itself. It congratulated the girls on their sportsmanship, perseverance and fine effort right to the final meters. "Sometimes the greatest success is the road itself that you had to travel to stand at the start alongside the best," the school wrote.
