Centralny Przystanek Historia przy ul. Marszałkowskiej 107 w Warszawie zaprasza uczniów szkół podstawowych i ponadpodstawowych powyżej 13. roku życia na multimedialną lekcję historii poświęconą rodzinie Ulmów z Markowej.
Marszałkowskiej 107 do 21 grudnia 2026r.
Virtual history of the Ulma family. A lesson for students at the Central History Stop
The Central History Stop at 107 Marszałkowska Street in Warsaw invites students from primary and secondary schools aged over 13 to take part in a multimedia history lesson devoted to the Ulma family from Markowa. The lesson uses the virtual exhibition “Testimony of HELP,” which presents the story of the family’s life and death after they helped Jews during the German occupation.
As part of the free session, students can visit a virtual reconstruction of the Ulma family’s hiding place and take part in a short educational walk through central Warsaw. The walk includes locations in the former Warsaw ghetto and places connected with efforts to help Jews during the occupation.
The “Testimony of HELP” exhibition uses new technologies to present the history of the Ulma family from Markowa, who helped Jews during the German occupation. Józef and Wiktoria Ulma and their children were murdered by the German occupiers.
The organizers encourage students to immerse themselves in history and learn about people who chose to help those persecuted during the occupation.
The lesson can be expanded to include a thematic film screening and a lecture. The shortest version of the session lasts one hour.
The exhibition is available at the Central History Stop of the Institute of National Remembrance at 107 Marszałkowska Street until December 21, 2026.
Registration for educational sessions based on the exhibition is available exclusively by email at przystanek.historia@ipn.gov.pl. Questions can also be directed to 532 827 789.
It is also possible to register for the exhibition itself, without an educational session led by educators, through the “Testimony of HELP” website.
The exhibition is intended for students over the age of 13. Written consent from a parent or legal guardian is required to use the virtual reality headsets. The consent form is available in the regulations of the Central History Stop.
